1.00The picture on this excursion was not what we saw. This tour was a tour of 3 churches and city. I thought we would see what was in the picture of the bones. The tour guide said that picture is not in antigua

5.00Loved this niche tour of Antigua focusing on the churches, monasteries & convents. The tour included a the full history of Antigua, including architectural tidbits. Nelson even helped me with a vendor I wanted to buy a painting from.

5.00My wife and I completed the tour with Hugo as our guide. As it turned out, we were the only guests that morning, so this was a “private” tour. Hugo was so knowledgeable and friendly and it was easy to understand his English. The tour was fantastic, we learned so much about the history of Antigua as seen through the eyes of ancient churches and their ruins. The catacombs and crypts were fascinating. Some of the entry ways were difficult to navigate with steep stairs and low ceilings. We especially loved Santa Domingo and the Jade museum. All in all we highly recommend this tour as a novel way to learn about Antigua.
