You MUST arrive 15 minutes prior to boarding to check in. We leave promptly at the scheduled time and cannot wait. When booking travel to the island please make sure to give enough time from arrival to island to get to tour departure location.
We are located on Catalina Island, You must secure transportation to the island to take the tour. There are no refunds if you miss the tour.
TRAVEL TO CATALINA IS NOT INCLUDED. Transportation needed by Ferry to Island.
Children Under 5 will not be able to participate in the tour.
What To Expect
Catalina Island
As you venture ten miles into the rugged interior, you will view the protected side of Catalina Island seldom seen by most visitors. Have the chance to encounter wildlife such as bison, deer, bald eagles, ravens, or even the Catalina Island fox. There is a photo opportunity around every turn as we climb to the Airport-in-the-Sky. At this stop, visit the Nature Center and peer down at one of Catalina’s original Native American gathering sites. The fee to the Catalina Island Conservancy directly supports the preservation of the animals, endangered species, and endemic plants on Catalina Island. Tours leave from The Cabrillo Mole. **we highly suggest you secure transportation to Catalina island prior to booking tour to confirm you can get to the tour as the boat to the island sells out quickly. Catalina Express or Newport Flyer for your transportation needs.

5.00A little bumpy but very interesting trip. Jessie did the best he could with road conditions. Abraham (?) was very knowledgeable and provided great insight to the island history. Highly recommend
Bison trip not guaranteed but we were lucky to see about 15-20

5.00We happened to wander over to the tour pickup spot and asked Abby at the ticket counter about the adventure tours. To our surprise, she told us the next one was leaving in just 10 minutes! The only catch? We had our dog with us. Abby jumped right in and generously offered to watch him while we went on the tour. Seriously, how awesome is that? We hopped into a jeep with Rob and headed out on what ended up being such a fun adventure. Along the way, we learned about the island’s history, wildlife, and natural beauty and even spotted a bison! That unexpected sighting was definitely one of the highlights. Rob was great. He knew so much about the island, and his off-road driving skills made the whole trip exciting without ever feeling unsafe. Even on the bumpier sections, we felt totally comfortable. Rob is also a comic disguised as a tour guide 😉 Overall, it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Big thanks to Abby and Rob for helping make our day so memorable. Definitely recommend!

1.00Negative stars if possible. Tour was literally not interesting and they promise wildlife and we saw nothing. Avoid at all costs.

4.00There was no way to buy a ticket for our 3 year old online and so he wasn’t counted as part of our party. If you don’t allow infants then say that and say a child is 2-11. Luckily our driver figured out a way to accommodate our party.

1.00Don’t get fooled by the advertisement saying there’s a chance to encounter wild lives such as buffalos, foxes and eagles ,etc. there are almost none. Even if there there are some, they are far far away and you can barely see. Road is extremely bumpy.

1.00The tour is basically a long drive up a bumpy road. We only stopped at the airport for a few minutes. No stops for photos. We saw one bison from a distance. Not worth how much it costs.
