Amazing family experience on Catamaran Makaira! We joined the half-day morning tour on the Catamaran Makaira in Sal, Cabo Verde as a family with our two sons (11 years and 1.5 years old), and we all absolutely loved it! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. We were picked up directly from our hotel and comfortably brought to the harbour and onto the catamaran — super easy and stress-free, especially with young children. The crew was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and created such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere throughout the trip. The highlight was definitely the snorkeling stop — seeing turtles and all kind off fishes was simply magical! On board, we enjoyed great music, refreshing drinks, and snacks. All in all, an unforgettable experience for the whole family. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sal!

This is a really great tour. We were picked up around 1pm - fairly quick drive - the boat leaves at 2pm. Lovely day out at sea. There was a lot of staff to assist - drinks always available - snorkelling gear if required. I would highly recommend

We did the half day trip on Friday. Not the best weather with wind around 25 mph and thick cloud. That said, the boat was really nice and the crew helpful. Lots of complimentary drinks available and a long swimming break in the middle. Food was decent and there was plenty space on the boat to relax We saw a couple of pods of dolphins in front of the boat, with tuna jumping vertically out of the water to avoid them. And we saw a large, dark shape , possibly a humpback whale , but quite far away so difficult to be sure. Photographer got some great pictures , the app they send them to was a little difficult to navigate but we managed to get the boat company to follow up and send us them another way. Overall great value for money, shame about the weather.

Cheerful and hospitable staff, good safety routines both for swimming/ snorkelling and the transport to and from Makaira. Nice trip to secluded bay in shelter of the wind, I expected us to go north but we went southwards (maybe because of the wind?). Some of the guests made it a booze cruise, so it might be a good idea to have a maximum limit of drinks :) All in all well worth the money. Extra bonus for female captain💪

Superb experience the whole team is present to make sure the moment passes as well as possible. In English in French or Portuguese everything is done for the public. Baignan in the ocean and equipment suitable for aquatic activities. We were able to see fish and taste very good snacking!! Advantage, if you specify, 20% of the price is donated to an association that looks after cats and dogs on the island! Join the useful to the pleasant what more to ask!
