What To Expect

To begin your Cave & Monkey Zipline Experience our Discover Barbados short introductory film will take you on a virtual journey across the island. You will then traverse deep into the underground as our tram tour takes you into a centuries-old subterranean world filled with picturesque streams, waterfalls, and stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations. Now you’ve seen Barbados from below, it’s time to grasp the views from high above so get geared up, and go take some thrilling zigs and zags on our Monkey Zipline, CHUKKA’s adrenaline-pumping treat in Barbados! Not only does this thrill seeker take you in multiple directions, it has you soaring just 100 feet above the ground. Below, above and now on top. It's time to take a relaxing stroll along our nature trail where you reconnect with nature and learn about the local flora and fauna whilst capturing those memories at our photospots along the way. Your feathered friends await you in our bird aviary. Take the opportunity to meet the different species of birds that now call Harrison's Cave 'home'. You can also learn about the history of rum at the Mount Gay Rum History Museum Experience self-guided tour.

We scheduled a pickup from our hotel and they picked us up 2 hours before the 10am appointment time... we walked to the aviary and around the general area but that was too much time before before our appt. Would have been better if it was 1 hour ahead of time.... the zipline was fun but went to quickly, the guys were great that assisted us. Our cave tour was scheduled at 11.40 but was able to catch an earlier one to finish up quicker... Cave tour was great. Overall worth it

We booked the zip line and caves tour and I have to say that Troy and “the guvnor” were top notch, very clear on the safety, no compromises and yet still really good guys and made it a lot of fun. For the caves we had Peter driving and Sierra guiding and again both great, the caves were stunning and the scale somewhat surprising but in a good way. A great way to spend a few hours combined. The flip side was service with food, the cashier was on her phone talking and just held her hand out for the cashier not to mention didn’t set the buzzer so our food was sat there on the side. It was such a contrast to everyone else we encountered which was a shame.

Our guides were Shane, Troy, D'angelo and Renico and we had an amazing time!! They were super friendly and had us laughing the entire time but most importantly we felt safe with them. 10/10 would tour with them again <3

Very disappointed with this excursion overall. Our driver was 15 minutes late despite punctuality being emphasized. We also did not receive the advertised challenge course, and several parts of the experience felt different from what was promoted. The zipline staff were excellent, but the experience itself was underwhelming. The zip lines were very short, and the group size felt too large, making it crowded and rushed. The nature trail was also much smaller than expected and partly closed, and the bird area was limited and crowded. The most serious issue was the complete lack of epilepsy/flashing light warnings. I have epilepsy and specifically researched this beforehand, but no warnings were provided. During the cave experience, flash photography was encouraged and combined with lighting effects in both the theatre and tram. This triggered multiple seizures and caused me to miss much of the experience. We also missed part of the introduction after being told the tram was full, only to later be told we should have been on it. Staff were informed when I became unwell, but there was very little concern shown at the time. I also contacted the company privately before posting this review and received little acknowledgement of the safety concerns. At minimum, clear warnings about flashing lights and epilepsy triggers should be provided for all affected areas so future guests can make an informed decision.

The zipline experience was awesome! All of the guys were professional and personable. They explained what to expect and ensured everyone understood the safety protocols. 10/10…. And Milk Man was hilarious!

Deshawn and Gino (aka "Handy Randy") were our zip line guides and they were awesome!! A couple of us in the group are afraid of heights, and they made us feel at ease. They were so funny and knowledgeable - we had an absolute blast!! Trent and Andre were our guides for the cave and they were also fantastic! Thank you all for a great experience!!

Zip line is a must. Wear loose comfortable clothes. Locker use was key. Do not rush plenty of time for everything. Every staff member was friendly.

I can honestly say, as someone who is terrified of heights, this experience was absolutely incredible! I did the ziplining tour on 4/5/26 at 2 PM, and every single guide we had from the moment we arrived until the very end was amazing. They constantly reassured me that I was safe and in good hands, and their kindness, patience, and encouragement truly helped me enjoy the experience despite my fear. I don’t remember everyone’s names from the ziplining team, but I do remember Governor (if I’m not mistaken!), and he was fantastic along with the rest of the crew. Everyone truly made the experience fun, comfortable, and unforgettable. Shoutout to Gabriel from the cave tour, he was interactive, knowledgeable, and had such a great sense of humor that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I loved every second of both the ziplining and cave experience… even if my heart skipped about 100 beats while flying through the air on the zipline ! Thank you to the entire team for making this such a memorable adventure.
