What To Expect
Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve
Our accredited tour guide will meet you at your hotel, cruise port(FSTV), and the water taxi terminal. There we go to the vehicle and we drive through a few streets in Belize city seeing historic buildings, lighthouses, the Belize sign and the Welty part of the city and the way the people live, etc. you will hear all about the history of Belize and its diverse ethnicity. Then after exiting the city, the drive is about an hour to the cave site. On the drive, there are different ecosystems of plants and trees. Passing through a historical community along the way to hear all about the major hurricane that devastated Belize. Being in a smaller group it’s almost like a one-on-one tour with your tour guide making it very personal and more attentive. In the caves, you will be blown away by all the natural attractions and formations of stalactites and stalagmites among many other natural formations. To participate you must have 40 inches in height and more.

5.00Dennis Jr was a fantastic tour guide! He was so knowledgeable, super fun to chat with, and really took care of everything! He met us at the ferry, took care of transportation, and helped us the whole way through! We had so much fun, and would recommend him and the tour itself to anyone! It was also very personal, as it was a small group- which was awesome. My mom was a little unsure of walking around in the caves, and he really took the time to make sure she felt comfortable. We even got to eat some local food afterward too! 10 out of 10!

5.00Dennis was an amazing guide! My partner and I were lucky to have him all to ourselves, and he was extremely knowledgeable and adapted readily to our needs. Since we were his only group, he was able to bring us to the zoo nearby and even dropped by the airport to pick up our friend. Very lovely guy and highly recommend the tour :)

5.00We had an amazing tour with Dennis who is so friendly and knowledgeable. He was very professional and fun to hang out with. We tubed the caves, swam in the cenote and tubed down the river and had an amazing day.

5.00Dennis was a fantastic tour guide, we had him both today for cave tubing and yesterday for altun ha ruins, he gave us phenomenal recommendations for food, was extremely knowledgeable about history, and compared to a lot of the other tour guides we passed, seemed much more engaged in his job. we could not have had a better time and we both think it was entirely worth the money to have him guide us again.

5.00This was the highlight of our entire cruise. Amazing experience, small group size, and concierge level service. Combines river tubing, spelunking, and tubing/swimming in an underwater cavern all in one. And provided an awesome lunch! Dennis Jr and Eddy were amazing. My daughter had difficulty walking due to surgery, and they pulled out all the stops to make sure she could still enjoy the entire adventure. We got to do way more and substantially more immersive than those that booked with the cruise line. Experience was worth every penny.
