Cave tubing at St. Herman’s Cave was one of the highlights of our Belize trip. We went later in the day and ended up being the only family on the tour, which made the experience feel incredibly special and private. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable from the start. Floating through the cave was both exciting and peaceful—just the right mix of adventure and wonder. The caves themselves are stunning, with dramatic formations and a sense of history that makes the experience feel meaningful, not just fun. Because it was quieter at the end of the day, we were able to really soak it all in without feeling rushed or crowded. It felt like the cave belonged just to us. Highly recommend this experience for families or anyone looking for a memorable, slightly adventurous activity that’s still accessible and fun. Tip: Bring towels and a change of clothes—you will get wet and you’ll be glad you did before heading back out. Would absolutely do this again.

Unlike anything I had ever experienced! The tour guides came out on their day off and on Easter Sunday to accommodate our group! How incredibly kind and clearly this father and daughter truly enjoyed working together. They too were passionate about the history of the caves and we learned more about the Mayan culture that is present in Belize. Just a short walk from the parking lot to the caves. Easily doable for most people! They made sure that we were all comfortable and safe throughout the day. Highly recommend!

This is a great way to get out of the heat of the day into cooler waters on an easy underground float. The formations within the cave were interesting and fun to navigate while our guides provided context on what we were experiencing. The tour we took also included a stop at the Inland Blue Hole where the underground river reemerges after having flowed through the cave -- it is a pool in a beautiful jungle setting and equally enjoyable.

I should write an individual review for each of the three tours I did with Get to Know Belize while I was in Hopkins, because they were THAT GOOD and deserve all the praise, but I’m being lazy and just posting one. While I was here I went on the Cave Tubing tour at Herman’s Cave with Alden, the Monkey River Tour with Shane, and a half day snorkel trip with Jeff, Jaden and Ernest. The guides were all fantastic and I want to bring them all home with me. Such nice guys and so knowledgeable too. I have a lot of respect for the work they do - they have to deal with all sorts of personalities and they do it with grace, kindness and professionalism. The tours were so great! Do not hesitate to book with Get to Know Belize. I also wanted to go on the Island Hopping tour but it wasn’t available while I was here…guess I’ll just need to come back! These tours were very well planned and were such an important part of making my trip to Belize so memorable.

It was a great day and fantastic experience. The tubing guide was fun and knowledgeable. Dirk, our driver, was exceptional. He knew of delicious places to stop for lunch. He has an infectious positive personality. I would highly recommend the tour. We paired it with the chocolate demonstration.

We just returned from a weeks stay in Hopkins Bay. There were 11 of us, ages ranging from 8-80. We had 2 ocean front villas at Muy’Ono and it was wonderful. We snorkled, fished, river tubed, zip lined, cave tubed and did the ATV tour. All of it was great. I highly recommend Josie Saldana , gettoknowbelize.com. She arranged it all including pick up at dangria airport and had a golf cart rental waiting for us at the resort when we arrived. She was very reachable by email, text or phone. She did an awesome job for us! It is a family run business and I can’t say enough good things about them. You will find the nicest, kindest most humble people in Hopkins. — at Josie Saldana.

Must try! The experience was great, we got picked up at our resort in Hopkins right on time. The van they picked us up in looked new and had great AC. When we arrived the team got us fitted for a life jacket, hard hat, and grabbed a tube. The tubes we got were better then expected, they were blue with a backrest which made it really comfortable to float. The walk to the cave is short maybe 5-10min and it's mostly flat. There are stairs that are uneven but a rope to hold onto makes it pretty easy. Once down in the cave the guide will pull you up stream, once at the top of the flow you can easily float down. The water is crystal clear, for some reason I thought it would muddy/murky. We are here during the off season so we were expecting low water but honestly it wasn't that bad and so worth it. After floating the cave we got to swim in a blue pool, the water is so refreshing and the fish in the water are friendly. This is a must do and I can't thank the guides enough for such a fun afternoon.

This experience was interesting but I don’t think it was worth the price. The tubing part is clumsy because there’s not enough water for you to move without getting stuck or have your guide push you. I would visit it but not on a guided tubing tour. You can walk in and get a very good feel for it without needing to go in a tube. But don’t miss out on the Blue Hole. It’s situated nearby and totally worth your time!

Guide was late but friendly. Cave was only 1/2 mile long. Safety equipment was prey worn and the float up to the head of the river is being towed by the guide and then towed back down. Not what we expected and the mosquitoes were unbelievable. So many bites. If u choose this outing bring plenty of OFF or a flamethrower
