This is an absolutely unforgettable experience. This day trip has it all: adventure, pristine tropical rivers, waterfalls, cave swimming, beautiful scenery, adrenaline, fun and even some archeology/history along the day.
We will swim through caves, go under cool waterfalls, and even cliff jump from cliffs ranging from 8 to 27 feet (optional of course.) The place is almost undiscovered, not like El Yunque where you can easily encounter hundreds of people in a single day. Mostly just locals here or people who come with us! The drive from the meeting point to the rainforest caves is about one hour. Along the way you will see the real Puerto Rico, quite removed from the tourist area. You will see a more rural way of life where the locals are connected with nature. The scenery along the drive and hike is absolutely incredible. Once the adventure begins, we will take you through the jungle. We grew up doing this and know the area like the back of our hands, so you are safe with us.

Charco Azul Canyon
Charco Azul and its other-worldly views is something that you simply cannot miss. Swimming through caves is exhilarating. At the end we go cliff jumping (optional) for even more adrenaline. This visit includes the Arenales Caves as well.

5.00It's going to take good water shoes. Walking was a little slippery in spots. Kenyon our guide was great. He knows the area, and he took some awesome pictures. We worried about getting back to our cruise ship, but we made it back in plenty of time.

5.00Jean “John” was amazing and extremely entertaining! His knowledge of the caves and waterfalls was extensive. He took his time with us to make sure everyone from every skill level was able to experience the river, caves, and waterfalls. This was definitely a hike for people with at least intermediate hiking abilities. Not for small children or grandparents. John also took us to an authentic PR lunch shack with amazing food.

5.00This experience was like being with someone who was willing to take you into their back yard. We balanced “What have I signed up for” and “I am so proud I did this”. It was beautiful, unexpected and a thrill. Our guide John was patient and encouraging and made the adventure worth while. This tour is worth it. Get over your own fears and be a part of nature and the world that is not open to everyone. If you can do it, it is worth it!!!!!
