Banyumala Twin Waterfalls

Banyumala Twin Waterfall is a stunning natural attraction in North Bali, located near Wanagiri in the Munduk area. Unlike some of Bali’s more crowded waterfalls, Banyumala offers a peaceful and less touristy experience. The twin waterfalls cascade down lush, green cliffs into a crystal-clear natural pool, perfect for swimming and relaxation. Reaching the waterfall requires a short trek through scenic jungle trails, adding to the adventure. Its serene atmosphere and breathtaking beauty make it a must-visit spot for nature lovers and photographers.

    Great day out with Adi, our driver and guide, (Saka Bali Putu Tours)around Celukan Bawang. Pickup at exit of cruise port, comfortable, clean ride. Adi was very knowledgeable about the area and the conversation was informative and fun. We chose North Bali Trip A, stopping at the Twin Lake view for a panoramic photo- you could hold a python, bat, lizard if u chose to(donation for feed). Next was the beautiful Banyumala Falls- what a trek to get there! If u have any mobility issues you should pass on this. Very steep uneven steps down and back up. Next was the floating temple- Ulun Danu Bratan Temple- very beautiful grounds. We were so tired from the exertion at the waterfall that we skipped the coffee plantation and the market. I wanted to see monkeys and Adi took us to a nice area where the macaques were hanging out( not the monkey forest). Back to the port, in plenty of time, we said goodbye to Adi and thanked him for showing us North Bali

    Joni took four of us from the port to twin lake view, a temple and a spectacular waterfall. It was a great day. Joni worked with us to fit in the places we most wanted to visits as time was short. He looked after us and gave us lots of helpful information. He even arranged moped rides up the steep climb from the waterfall when our knees protested! Would definitely recommend this trip, and Joni, to any future visitors.

He couldn’t have been more helpful with his suggestions of the best way to use our time to see the things we wanted to see in a meaningful way.     You have the option to custom tailor the experience. Our guide was fantastic. He made it an extraordinary experience. The Waterfalls were spectacular but a difficult climb down and up to see. However we’ll worth it.

    The trip was excellent. Bon Bon turned up early and was waiting for us at the port. He was very courteous and helpful and drove us to sites that we enjoyed. I’d highly recommend Bon Bon.

    I would give my driver Kadek 10 stars! He has a very nice vehicle and is full of knowledge and history of everything on the island and its culture. He was born and lives on this island so he is an excellent choice for a tour guide.. He took me to so many things I never expected to be able to see.
