Our Plitvice i Željava tour is a perfect combination of not-to-be-missed natural site and a Yugoslav best kept army secret. After only a 2 hour drive in a Yugo, we're entering Plitvice Lakes - Croatia's oldest and most visited national park. We're taking a 2 hours walk (incl. bus and a short boat ride) in the park known for its rich flora, fauna, lakes and countless waterfalls. After the walk, we'll have a lunch break in the park (lunch is not included). In the afternoon, we're continuing (30 minutes drive from Plitvice) to the deserted airbase known as Object 505 or Željava. Here, you'll get a chance to climb up the old Dakota airplane, walk through the tunnels and drive in a Yugo on the runaways where MIGs used to take off!

It was simply awesome! Teo was knowledgeable, easy to converse with and flexible and he made the tour fun with little known facts. It was truly unique experience. I highly recommend it!

My wife and I planned this trip and Teo was our private tour guide for the Plitvice Lakes National Park. He was too good. Very friendly and explained everything about the park and also about the Croatian culture. He also gave us additional tips on where to eat and hangout. If you're planning your trip here in Croatia then Teo is the person to go to.

Teo was a great, knowledgeable, and friendly tour guide on our Yugo tour to Plitvice and Zeljava Airbase. My husband and I took this tour last week during our two week trip through Croatia and this was probably our most interesting day spent in the country. Teo had SO much info and answered my many questions on Yugos, Yugoslavia, and so much more. For a small car it was a comfortable ride the whole day. Not to mention all the people smiling and waving as they saw the Yugo drive by. Plitvice and Zeljava were certainty interesting and we felt we got the right amount of time at both places. Having a guide for the Zeljava part was especially helpful, since it's so remote. And of course the fun part was getting to take the Yugo for a spin towards the end of the tour! We would 10/10 recommend this tour to anyone visiting Zagreb who would like to spend a day going to Plitvice/Zeljava. Thanks again for the great time, Teo! And for helping us order the lamb peka for lunch!

We went on the yugo car adventure with Antonia and had a great time! It's not a typical tour every agency offers which makes it even more interesting and worth seeing. Antonia is an amazing and friendly guide, very informative and willing to share all the interesting facts and knowledge about the places we had visited. I highly recommend this tour!

Really, expect the unexpected. We were pleasantly surprised with this tour, since we did not know such places even existed in Croatia, it was a very underground experience :) Antonia was a great storyteller & guide, positive vibes only kinda roadtrip. Plitvice part of the tour was as expected, beautiful, even in the autumn. Would recommend it & even go again :)

From the beginning I was impressed with the excellence of the customer care and attention to detail. Antonija was superb in helping me to create the perfect itinerary, she listened to my needs and special requests as I am a big fan of Nikola Tesla, am interested in the history of ex Yugoslavia. Antonija has displayed a great combination of efficiency, clarity, humour and fun personality. Her knowledge is extraordinary, I have learnt a lot during this fun trip. She offered advice on all sorts of issues such as good restaurants, bars. It was a joy to meet this delightful lady Antonija, who has become my new friend.

The trip I had with the organizer Antonija as a guide in the yugo car is one of the best and most interesting trips that left me breathless on a couple of occasions. I haven't felt so much combination of natural beauty, history, fun and curiosity in "one place" for a long time in that way. Antonija is totally simple, dear and full of knowledge that she transmits so well that you can't wait to hear more. Absolutely every recommendation and I would go again 🥳❤️ Very impressed.
