Each vehicle includes a set luggage allowance. A flat £15 charge applies for reasonable excess luggage carried in the passenger compartment, subject to driver discretion and vehicle capacity limits.
For address pickups, free waiting time is 15 mins; for train stations, 30 mins. If delayed beyond this, waiting charges apply: £15 (0–15m), £20 (16–30m), £25 (31–45m), £30 (46–60m), £40 (61–90m).
What To Expect
Once a passenger has booked a journey from London hotel or address to Southampton Cruise port, , we send a confirmation email with full pickup details. On the day of departure, our driver will arrive to selected hotel or address and transport the passengers safely to Southampton Port

4.00Great transfer. Our driver, Viloletta, was excellent, on time and drove safely. She gets 5 stars! The 4 star rating is for Viator’s explanation, or lack thereof, when it comes to the actual size of bags that can fit in any given vehicle. We chose an “executive saloon” vehicle which stated it could take three passengers with three pieces of luggage. There were only two of us and we had one large check in bag, one medium check in bag, one overhead piece of soft sided luggage without wheels and one bag that easily fit under an airline seat. Had we actually been 3 passengers, this vehicle would have been too small. When I tried to check with Viator on the size of the bags via their online chat I was simply told that if I thought my bags may not fit, I should order the next size up vehicle. If we had been using two of the large check in bags, rather than a large and a medium, the vehicle would have been too small. I’m not really sure how that vehicle could have qualified for 3 passengers with three bags unless all three bags were carry ons. Viator needs to do better. They use so many different contractors it’s hard to keep them all straight.
