This Boat tour is operated by: PH Whale Watch, you will discover the amazing underwater world of Champagne Reef and Scotts Head. Between the two snorkeling sites you can relax in the hot water springs at Bubble Beach.
Its a very Private tour with a maximum of 8 people on the boat. Tour is scheduled to be back on time at your Cruise Ship. This is a Government Approved Tour (Safe in Nature), so you are also able to do this tour when you come in by Cruise Ship. People from the Cruise ship in Roseau we pickup directly at the ship by boat. All other we meet at the ferry terminal in roseau. We do not pickup from hotels or any other places.

What To Expect
Champagne Beach
Experience the spectacle of Dominica’s rainbow-coloured seascape, during this very private boat tour. Named for the bubbling waters rising from volcanic thermal springs on the ocean floor, Champagne Reef attracts diving and snorkeling enthusiasts from around the world. The reef’s plummeting cliffs and towering volcanic formations perfectly match Dominica’s massive mountains and gorges. Whether diving or snorkeling, you’ll encounter a dazzling explosion of colours. The reef holds a paint box of sponges with names like pink azure, red rope, yellow tube, and purple vase. Matching the color and variety of the sponges and crinoids is a fascinating range of undersea creatures — octopus, rays, trumpet fish, parrotfish, frogfish, batfish, hawksbill turtles, seahorses, sea snakes, and eels. You may even encounter the remains of the 17th century Spanish shipwreck. After this snorkeling tour from about 45 minutes well go to the beach for a cold drink.

5.00Great snorkeling tour direct from the port Very convenient. Operators were on time and very friendly!!! Easy going and made our trip feel special. Easy to book online and very affordable. Very different snorkeling here than anywhere else. Love the champagne waters and beach with natural hot waters from the volcano. Felt safe the whole time with them. Great tour. Would highly recommend!!

5.00Visiting Champagne Reef / Bubble Beach was simply the best experience ever! Everything was perfectly organized upon arrival, and the local people were incredibly friendly, warm and helpful – you immediately felt welcome. Snorkeling was an absolute dream: beautiful, colorful fish everywhere and the unique “bubbles” rising from the seabed make this place truly magical. I've never seen anything like it! The highlight for me was bathing in the natural “whirlpool” – a real natural bath that is just fantastic and provides total relaxation. All in all an unforgettable experience that I can only recommend to anyone. An absolute dream and definitely one of the most beautiful highlights ever!

5.00I’ve been on many snorkeling tours over the years but this one was by far the best ever! Sello and Brittany were so much fun to be around and the beautiful and amazing coral, fish and champagne bubbles coming from the ocean floor was so awesome and educational!Then we went to a small village where Sello is from. He had us walk in the cool shoreline water and had us bury our feet about 2 inches into the sand below the cool water and it was so hot from the volcanic activity below. Everything was amazing and interesting! They limit it to 8 people which makes the adventure even better.

5.00Friendly, knowledgeable crew (Brittany & Cello (sp?) & good snorkeling on the Champagne Reef. Nice to be in a small boat with only 8 passengers instead of the big snorkel boats. We were all from different cruise ships but the crew made sure we were back in time for departure. It was really windy the day we went & the crew took us to Scott’s Head after Champagne to see if it was doable. It was pretty rough & poor visibility but the crew let us decide if we wanted to try. We all agreed it didn’t look great so we stopped by the fun little hot springs/beach bar instead. I’m a scuba diver & used to live in the Caribbean so I’ve seen great diving. I dove the Champagne Reef 25 years ago & it was nice to see it still had some decent sea life. I would recommend this tour!

5.00Small group tour (6 total) was perfect. Weather didnt cooperate but the guides adjusted snorkeling sites to give us the best experience possible. Lovely time out, well looked after (constantly checking to make sure everyone was ok and equipment working) and got to see a variety of fish, sea turtles and the bubbles at champagne beach. Saw other boats overloaded with tourists and were so happy we chose this company to have a much more personal experience away from those large groups.
They skipped Bubble Beach.

3.00Our guides did not take us to Bubble Beach - so we missed out on 1/3 of this tour that we paid for. We went to Champagne Reef, skipped Bubble Beach, then they said Scott’s Head area was not viable for that day, then took us to a different location where the visibility and the overall experience was mediocre.
Wonderful snorkel excursion to champagne reef bubble by Whale Watch Dominica. Amazing crew!!

5.00We had an amazing half day snorkel to Champagne bubbles. The crew really took care of us. The guide stayed with us the entire time pointing out lots of cool stuff and keeping us safe as well. I would absolutely recommend this excursion to all!!

5.00This was the champagne reef and Scott’s head snorkel experience. Champagne reef was amazing. Was able to see more than just the champagne bubbles, which were pretty cool. We were not able to get to Scott’s head due the high winds so the tour guides took us somewhere else which was just as nice and then took us to a volcanic beach where the sand was hot below the surface and the locals had a bar there where we got a nice drink, and we sat in the hot springs and enjoyed the local atmosphere.
