Day 1

Sanctuary Waterfall, Cave Waterfall and Capelão Waterfall

Located in Carolina - MA, the Pedra Caída Complex houses more than 20 waterfalls and some of them are open for visits. On the first day of the tour, we will visit some of the main waterfalls in Chapada das Mesas: Cachoeira do Santuário, Cachoeira do Capelão and Cachoeira da Caverna

Day 2

São Romão Waterfall and Cachoeiras do Prata - Chapada das Mesas National Park

Cachoeira de Sao Romao

São Romão has a drop of 25 meters high and 35 meters long. It is part of the conservation area for the nests of the Cerrado Swifts, which make their nests inside the cave located behind the waterfall's water curtain.

There are 3 waterfalls 24 meters high. In the flood, a curtain of water appears on the wall forming a single large fall.

Blue Well, Blue Charm and Santa Barbara Waterfall

Encanto Azul

Encanto Azul is a crystal clear blue lake surrounded by sandstone and limestone walls, from where its springs arise.

The Poço Azul is in Riachão-MA and is formed below a series of waterfalls in the Cocal River.

Cachoeira do Dodo

Cachoeira do Dodô is approximately 8 meters high and is located in a sandstone canyon with the same elevation. Its main characteristic is that the riverbed is orange in color, where there are some warm water springs.

Excellent experience with Savana Ecotourism, from the first contact to ask questions about the services, with complete and detailed information for a quiet and safe trip. Very comfortable and with great location, incredible views, very responsible drivers guides, experienced and trained, provided safe tours and rich in information about the local nature, history and culture. The Chapada das Mesas is stunning and making the routes with the Savannah surely raised the level of the experience and the city of Carolina is a lovely place with beautiful views and a lot of history to learn. My gratitude to Heitor for the excellent service, to the wonderful guides Eduardo, Jairo and Gabi for the unforgettable tours Luid & Cia for the support and dedication so that the experience was perfect, the adorable Maria for the caring welcoming and the delicious breakfast. These were days that will be kept forever in my heart. I hope to be back soon. Congratulations to everyone and my gratitude, respect and admiration for excellence in the service.

Absolutely fantastic place, very preserved with little negative impact that is sometimes caused by mass tourism. The starting point is in the city of Carolina with good accommodation and food options.

I was very well served and assisted by Savannah. The team removed my doubts, guided me. I closed the tour package for 5 days, with breakfast and lunch included, to stay carefree. I was also given suggestions of places to dine and watch the sunset. I loved the tours, the place is too beautiful and the water of the waterfalls is warm!! Most of the tours I did with the guide Eduardo, very excited, dear, careful (if engaged in the photos) and felt safe. I highly recommend! Great cost-benefit.

We think the company is great! Bruna and Heitor were very helpful and provided us with all the assistance before and during the trip, which went without any complications. The guides Heitor, Márcio and Nivaldo, who accompanied us on the tours, were also wonderful. I especially thank Heitor, who was very attentive to us, and Márcio Mota, who is a walking encyclopedia. I would like to add a little extra praise to the cafe that Nivaldo took us to on the way back from the Romão waterfall, and to recommend the fried cake served with coffee. Also Dona Jesus' restaurant, whose food is one of the best I've tried in Maranhão. I have nothing more to say, other than that everything was perfect! Chapada is really beautiful!

We spent four incredible days exploring the stunning Chapada das Mesas with the indispensable support of the Savana team! From the first contact, Heitor welcomed us with human warmth and impeccable attention. He perfectly arranged all the details of our stay and tours, as well as picking us up and taking us to the airport with complete comfort. Always available to answer our questions, he shared fascinating information about the region with us, making every moment even more special. Marcio is a true walking encyclopedia, capable of holding our attention for hours with his stories and knowledge about Chapada das Mesas. Your education and helpfulness made our journey even more enriching. Be sure to absorb all the knowledge he has to offer! Nivaldo was also excellent, he made a long journey seem peaceful with his relaxation, not to mention that he was also a wealth of knowledge. Chapada das Mesas is truly wonderful. We did it with the Savana agency and everything was perfect, from closing the package to the return transfer to the airport. Heitor and Bruna took great care of us. Heitor is a top 10 guy. I give them a great rating!!!
