Our stable is where your tour experience will begin and end. After checking in you can say hi to our draft horses, watch an educational video, purchases a bottle of water, or use our restroom. As you board your carriage via our inclined ramp / easy loading platform, your certified tour guide will greet you.
Charleston City Market
After leaving our stable, your carriage will stop at the City gate near the Market, where a route is assigned by the City of Charleston. Our industry is governed by this system in order to disperse the carriage traffic more evenly throughout the city. Your tour will cover about 30 blocks and 300+ years of history. Though specific landmarks vary by route, all tours pass by sights that give Charleston its unique charm – custom wrought iron gates, well-manicured gardens, historic mansions with picturesque piazzas, and the many church steeples of the “Holy City.”

Too crowded 4 large people per seat Thought it was to be 1.5 hours and was less than 60 minutes We have used Viador all over the world and this was disappointing

We took the tour with Carol and Moose today. What impressed me most was her love and attention towards Moose. Carol gave so much history of the town and shared fun facts on how to get the most out of our visit . Would highly recommend !

We went on 2nd Sunday/Mother’s Day. Our tour guide was Dawn who was just delightful and our horse was Jordan, a big, slow handsome fellow. It was just a nice relaxing fact-filled tour. Highly recommend!

I’m so glad we decided to do this! It was so much fun and we learned a lot of this city’s history in a brief time. The horses looked well taken care of which is one of the most important factors when deciding to take this type of tour. Definitely recommend

Excellent tour of old Charleston and its history. One hour of non-stop informative travel through the streets. Our guide, Emily was excellent and her partner (Cooper the draft horse) was well mannered even though he had to pull all 14 of us and the wagon.

Excellent tour!! Our guide, Skyler, was fantastic and our route through the French quarter was full of beauty and great historical facts and information. We had some “tour skeptics” with us and they were very impressed and enjoyed it very much.
