Enjoy this exciting Tour with one of our Local multi Generation Guides Josh , Mark , Ken or Carolyn . This Food and History Tour will keep your Mouth watering , please note that these are sample sizes to get tastes of the food and isn’t necessarily a full meal depending on your appetite. . On The Tour you will learn all sorts of things about PEI's History as well its Food and the History of its different foods and why each Dish is important to Islanders. You will sample some of PEI's well known Dishes from some of its Best Restaurants. At the end of the Tour you will be "shuck in" and become an honorary Islander. Food substitutes due to allergies etc may be available but requests must be made in advance . *Please also note that the Water Prince Corner Shop stop may be done at times as a takeout/picnic style stop due to the size and busyness of the Restaurant.”

My wife and I are very fond of walking food tours, and Charlottetown proved to be no exception. Ken provided us with excellent commentary! As a local, his knowledge of the history of the area was outstanding, and his anecdotes made it an even more personal experience. The food was of high quality, and the flavor was excellent. All in all, it was a very meaningful experience, and time well spent. Keep up the great work 🙂

Wonderful tour! Had amazing mussels, lobster roll and oysters at three different restaurants. We learned so much about Charlottetown’s history from our guide, Josh. He was very passionate about P.E.I. as this area is home for him (9th generation). Highly recommend!

Mark was an excellent guide, and he treated us to all kinds of local history and some spectacular food! It didn’t hurt that we had an absolutely gorgeous day and only one other couple, so it was absolutely a personal tour!

We went 2.5 hours with one meal…. So definitely come with a pretty full belly already. Great for history buffs who want to know the extent of PEI history through time… but for people who want to know culinary history … or just eat good food… not quite hitting the mark. From a food perspective, we had 4 courses - PEI mussels, half a lobster roll with egg/potato salad, a single Malbec oyster with a moonshine shot, and a chocolate bar (to go).

Mark was an excellent guide who shared the history of PEI. The food taste was excellent of the lobster, mussels and the oysters that my husband only tried. Great fun and very enjoyable.

We enjoyed our food walking tour. We were a group of 17, which seemed a bit large, and it was mostly manageable. Our tour guide, Mark is native to PEI and provided many anecdotes and historical facts along the way. The food was both interesting and satisfying. Clearly they have put some thought into making the tour entertaining. On the negative side, we had a bit of a delay as the restaurant serving the lobster rolls was backed up. It it made the tour run longer, so that was a minor inconvenience. Overall, we would recommend it

We both loved the tour and the food stops. If you don’t like shellfish, maybe not! Except now I love mussels. The lobster rolls were excellent. Every stop was fun. The guide was local and had so much island information. The city parks are lovely and the Fall colors were at a peak! Great choice and our best day so far.

Dress warm for changeable weather, comfortable shoes, very good food experience and the tour guide was very accommodating
