Overall we had a good experience. We booked this in lieu of a similar excursion on our Princess cruise. Our tour guide Mia did a great job explaining the history of PEI as we explored different places to experience the food in the area. The food that we got was more than I expected and we had a lot of fun. The only negative was that it took time to get food in a couple of the places but I think that is because there were a LOT of people in town with our cruise ship being there. We had great conversations with others taking the tour so it all worked out. Would recommend doing this tour. Charlottetown is a wonderful little town that is very walkable for those with any mobility issues.

If you're looking for a delightful way to experience the culinary highlights of Charlottetown, the Charlottetown Food Walking Tour is an excellent choice. Our three-hour tour was relaxed, engaging, and packed with delicious food. Mark, our tour leader and historian, made the experience truly memorable by sharing fascinating stories about PEI's rich history, complete with a book of historical photos and illustrations that brought the past to life. In PEI, its all about the Seafood. Lobster, mussels, and ousters, all caught locally, processed locally, and served fresh. The restaurants we visit are rather close together so there is not a lot of walking, and there are only three food stops. Overall, this tour was more than just a tasting adventure—it was a perfect introduction to the area, blending history and local flavors in a way that's both fun and informative.

Josh, the host, is excellent. He’s full of a wealth of information about Charlottetown - its history, growth patterns and architecture. The three locations for food are also excellent. The lobster warf explanation of lobster is fantastic.

The walking tour was informative. Having a native local provide personal insight made it special. Appreciated trying Mussels for the first time, the lobster rolls (of course) were fantastic, but the oysters were not good - traditionally served in natural saltwater was not was we expected. The photo and certificate of the event were cheesy and did not really add any value to the experience.

Mia gave a great history of PEI, providing tips for tourists and answering our many questions! The food was good—especially the mini-lobster roll (possibly the best I’ve ever had!). The tour would be better labeled “seafood tour”. The price was reasonable. I would have been willing to pay more for more stops and variety.
