Canal Grande
“The most beautiful road in the world”, this is how the Canal Grande is known as. If you look around, what you will see is almost the same view that a 18th-century nobleman would have seen, and before him a Renaissance courtesan, and even before that, a merchant who lived in the Middle Ages.
Peggy Guggenheim Collection
Peggy Guggenheim Collection is one of the most important art collections in the world. Peggy Guggenheim, from New York, arrived in Venice in 1949 and began to satisfy her art addiction by buying this wonderful building where she put on display invaluable artworks for the whole world to see. The beautiful terrace you see is where Guggenheim sun-bathed regularly enjoying the view over the Canal Grande

We had a hard time finding our starting point. But after final determination we got there The gondola ride itself was enjoyable and we were glad to be on board

Ride was only a few minutes. Our route was obstructed,we waited patiently in the rain for it to be cleared and our time was up! We were only in the gondola a few minutes. Also, the lady working in the office was very rude.said our time was 130 and I showed her my reservation time in my email was 210. She said it was wrong." I'll put you somewhere. We were really looking forward to this excursion.Very disappointed.

Very disappointed in the journey having seen some gondolas in other canals in Venice with much prettier scenery.

Nice tour of the canals of Venice including Grand Canal and view of Doge's Palace with very nice traditional gondola and skillful gondolier. Unfortunately, the trip was a bit short at 25 minutes, especially considering the price of 149 euros.

Basically, it was a quick tour and then about a 30 minute ride in the gondola. It was fine and it met our expectations, but these gondola rides are readily available throughout the city whenever you want them for about $100 per hour for the boat (which was a similar price to this booking).

Looking forward to the Gondola ride. However it started to rain hard, thunder and lightning and the wind was blowing strong. Our group waited 10 minutes to see if the would weather dies down. But it didn’t We were approached by our tour guide Victoria indicated we can rescheduled or request a refund. Unfortunately we couldn’t reschedule because of conflicting circumstances. So we told her will request a refund. We were also told to contact Viator which we did. Viator out in a refund request to Venice Tours. We did stop by Venice tours but we received no help from the representatives and they were rude. Still waiting on confirmation on refund.

This was great! We got a virtual tour, learned about the history of Venice, Gondola's creation and purpose.

Gondola fares are standardized in Venice; however, I booked the experience and paid more to A) have a reserved time and not worry about lines, and B) as it was advertised to be an enhanced experience. The history of gondola travel provided prior to the ride was nice, and we appreciated the set time (though plenty of gondolas were available when we were there). However, the ride itself wasn't enhanced at all. The operator didn't engage or interact, and instead carried on conversations with other nearby gondola operators. Could have paid half the amount for an identical, and possibly better, experience.

We were at the meeting point well ahead of time, but no one there. Tried to call, got to some AI voice that couldn’t help, when asking for an operator the call got cut off. Luckily there was another tour guide there that could direct us to a completely different spot. There we got told off for being late… The actual tour was good and the guide very nice and knowledgeable.

Finding the meeting point was a bit tricky as we were provided with an address but there was no mention of the name of the tour office. I just popped in to ask if they knew where I needed to go and said I was at the right place. The gondola ride was nice and it was perfect weather!
Was €39.00
