What To Expect
Chichen Itza Yucatan
Avoid the rush and be the first to explore Chichen Itza! You'll be picked up early in the morning to ensure you arrive at the site right when it opens. With your private guide, you'll have skip-the-line tickets, giving you priority entrance. Not only will you get to be one of the first to enter, but you'll also beat the heat while exploring. You'll enjoy a comprehensive guided tour of the Chichen Itza site with a private certified guide. And if you'd like, you'll even have some free time to browse and shop for souvenirs. We will pick you up with a private vehicle from your hotel-rental (approx 2h30 driving).
Valladolid
You'll get to enjoy an authentic Yucatan lunch with your guide at one of the city's top restaurants. Afterward, you'll have some free time to explore the charming colonial town, including the main square and convent areas that are must-see attractions. If you're interested, you'll also have some free time for shopping. After lunch, we'll take you back to your hotel or rental (approx. 2-hour drive).

5.00The highlight of our trip! Our guide was Eddy, and he was perfect. Friendly, professional, and just so well informed! He answered a million questions with a smile, and chatted through everything with us. Chichen Itza was really brought to life by him, and we had an amazing time. He was also very free with cultural insights about Mexican life both past and present. Thank you Eddy! Our driver was Omar, and he was also excellent on a long drive! Always ready to greet us with a smile and a iced bottle of water! This was our first time using Absolute Adventure, but everything was perfect. Communication, timing, payment, all done perfectly! We will see you all again next time for sure!!

5.00So pleased we opted for the private tour rather than going along with other travelers. Picked our group of 4 up on time from our hotel. Great communication throughout the booking process. Christina was our guide for the day along with George our driver. Both great at their jobs. Early entrance into chichen itza before the crowds was a great recommendation by the tour. Also entrance into an amazing Cénote before the rush so a great experience. Then Christina took us to a traditional Mayan restaurant and explained all the dishes so nice to try something from the region. Finished off with a look around Valladolid town before heading back to our hotel. Great memories made possible by this excellent tour.

5.00Cristina has the energy of an energizer bunny. She is so knowledgeable and she is always in the moment with her clients, very attentive and passionately about what she does. I’m so impressed with her as a person and as a tour guide. She has a beautiful heart and genuinely cares about her clients. I lovingly care her Dora the explorer, she is the coolest of the cool!

5.00Dulce was extremely nice with us: she even spoke to us in Italian even though the tour was booked in English! Everything was well organised. They answered to our questions on WhatsApp in real time and were very clear and transparent. It was amazing to arrive to chichen itza before the doors even opened, avoiding the heat and the long queues. The explanations were complete and interesting. The lunch was good. I just wish they gave us a guided tour in Valladolid as well instead of leaving us free to walk around, but apart from this little suggestion everything else was perfect!

5.00Superb experience that I highly recommend! We spent 3 unforgettable days with our guide Juan. A visit to Chichen Itza and Valadolid, a visit to Tulum and a first cenote, then on the last day 2 cenotes with different experiences each time. Juan is a very friendly, attentive guide, passionate about his country and its history, but who also knows how to adapt to his audience, and especially with children he knows how to make excursions fun and exciting. We also had privileged access avoiding the crowds, which made the tours even more enjoyable. We were also able to taste Mexican specialties with Juan's advice. The agency is very serious, with easy and responsive contact with Claire, which allows to enjoy her holidays without worrying about the organization.

5.00We had a wonderful experience on our private tour to Chichen Itza and Valladolid with our very conscientious driver Enrique and expert guide, Cristina. Absolute Adventure's suggestion of going early in the morning is well worth it. They arrived on time and we were one of the first couples to enter the sight that morning. Cristina carried an enormous amount of knowledge about Chichen Itza and we were more than happy to learn as much as we could. We followed the tour up with an included lunch in Valladolid and a mini tour around the town square along with a tour of the impressive San Bernardino de Siena Cathedral.
