Chobe National Park
Chobe game drives are the number one way to experience the Kasane and the Chobe National Park. We have custom built 4×4 safari vehicles. They have open sides which promise exceptional views of the wildlife for the guests. Professional safari guides lead the game drives in the Chobe Park. Their experience and knowledge provide great insight into the animals’ whereabouts and their behavior. We can’t guarantee specific sightings, but elephants are almost a given, as Chobe has the highest concentration of these fascinating giants in the world! Buffalo, zebra, hyena, giraffe, red lechwe, hippo and crocodiles are often spotted. The bird life is amazing in Chobe with over 460 species of birds. If you’re lucky you can see the big cats like lions and leopards.
Kasane
he Boat Cruise & Game Drive trip typically starts with a Chobe River cruise into the park, with an opportunity to see a host of waders and water birds. You can also expect the ever-present crocodiles and lurking hippos. A boat cruise is the ideal opportunity to relax, sit back and see the animals come to you. They are less disturbed by the sound of a boat and more relaxed, as the water is the one place where all the species need to go. Sometimes you can see many species of predators and herbivores at the river together!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience with Leon at Wanderlust! From the moment Leon collected us, I felt instantly safe and at ease—a priority for me as I was travelling alone with my two daughters. Leon went above and beyond to ensure our time in Victoria Falls was unforgettable. He arranged an incredible Chobe safari for us, which I can’t recommend enough. From the journey to the Zambian border to being collected after, Leon’s attention to detail was impeccable. The safari exceeded all our expectations—we saw everything we hoped for and more, even on the drive to and from the border. On our second day, Leon’s expertise shone again. He planned an unforgettable day for us, arranging a breathtaking helicopter flight over the falls, a thrilling gorge swing, and seamless entry to Victoria Falls. I rarely leave reviews, as I’m known for being hard to please, but Leon deserves every bit of recognition. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication to creating unforgettable experiences are unmatched. If you’re considering a trip, do not hesitate to book with Leon at Wanderlust. We’ve made memories on this trip that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much, Leon!

On September 30, three couples landed at Victoria Falls Airport, from where we later flew home after two wonderful weeks spent in Zimbabwe and Botswana. Wanderlust Safaris arranged all our transfers at Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) and Kasane (Botswana), including the return trip from Kasane to Victoria Falls and the airport, and provided us with an exciting one-day land and water safari program. The company organized the following transfers for us: • September 30: From Victoria Falls Airport to the hotel • October 1: A trip to the Victoria Falls and back, with the Boma Dinner & Drum Show transfer (6:30 pm - 9:30 pm) • October 2: Transfer from the hotel to the border, assistance with visa procedures at the border, and transfer to Kasane. Upon arrival in Kasane, we had a full-day safari, which included both a game drive and a motorboat excursion in the world-famous Chobe National Park, offering views of one of Africa’s largest wildlife concentrations. During the safari, drinks and a buffet lunch were served at Cresta Moana. We enjoyed stunning views on land and water and encountered elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, impalas, hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. In the evening, we were transferred to the Cresta Mowana hotel and had a morning transfer to Kasane Airport to fly to Maun. • October 10: Return to Kasane, transfer from the airport across the border to Victoria Falls, with a transfer to the airport the following day. We had many different transfers, all of which were organized perfectly and tailored to our needs. Having everything arranged by one company was comfortable and convenient. We were consistently in touch with Mr. Tongi Leon, who ensured that all went as planned. The company staff were friendly and supportive at every step. Many thanks to everyone, and we wish the company continued success and many satisfied customers.

Well organized safari. We were picked up from the hotel in Victoria Falls. The company provided us with assistance during the Zimbabwe Botswana border crossing. During the safari you can observe many animals including lions, buffaloes, hippos, birds, beautiful and unique landscapes. Lunch at a wonderful hotel on the Chobe River. Delicious buffet. After lunch, a boat safari and again an opportunity to watch animals and landscapes from a different perspective. I can recommend the company and its employees. The whole thing went smoothly and the hospitality and care was great.

Our safari was amazing. Our guides, Philemon and Rocky, were superb. They were so knowledgeable and helped us see everything we wanted to see (and more). We had a lot of fun on all the game drives. Our camp setup was so comfortable, the food was great, and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend Wanderlust Safaris!

The views were amazing and the combination of the boat cruise and game drive gives you a perfect experience of the park from different angles. We had a rare and special experience witnessing a lion hunt during the Game drive.
