This is an amazing experience. Everything was very smooth from the pickup (see suggestions below); the safari itself; transfer at the border and the lunch. The driver (from lodge to Zim border was nice and respectful; Baits who was the Safari guide was also nice). A few suggestions for the owner to improve: 1. I was pick up at 7am despite my booking clearly said it was for 7:30am. Since I was alone, it was easy for me to manage a quick breakfast and immediately leave - but if I were to be with other people, this could have been an issue. 2. Possibly because I was solo, there were a couple of changes during transfers. I began with a different group and after lunch I was asked to join a different group for the river tour and after the river tour (heading back to Zim border) I was assigned a different driver again. There was not an issue at all since everything went super smoothly, but if this could be informed more clearly ahead of time (with name and contact details of the drivers), it could help reduce the anxiety.

A fabulous day from start to finish, we fully recommend it. The quality of the transport and guides were great. We saw lots of wildlife including elephants, impala, hippo’s, giraffes and crocodiles and eagles. The combination of a half day safari and half day river cruise was fantastic.

We have a wonderful time with the team. The viewing on the boat was spectacular and we were able to move swiftly and fast than the larger boats to see elephants crossing the river which was awesome. Our overnight tent was pretty cool and it even had a shower. Dinner was amazing, the conversation with the team and the late night elephants and lions walking and roaring close close by was a highlight. The next we were lucky enough to spot a pride of lions enjoying a hard earned meal. Definitely once in a lifetime opportunity. All in all, it was a great short trip and beautiful memories were made.

The entire day safari has the exit from one of the hotels (in which you are staying) in Victoria Falls (populated with 40 thousand inhabitants but with excellent hotel structure) headed to the border with Botswana (one hour of van to there) from where the border crossing transactions are made (with passport and international yellow fever vaccine certificate and payment on return fee of U$ 20 per person). You then arrive at one of the Chobe region hotels for boarding a boat (with drinks available “all inclusive” and bathrooms on board). We will be able to visualize buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, birds and hippopotams throughout the journey (during approximately three hours of navigation). Return to the hotel for lunch (buffet) included and after an hour of lunch embark in jeeps for the land safari through the Chobe National Park for two hours after which you return to the border in jeeps (for the passage between Botswana and Zimbabwe) and then back to the Hotels (arrival around 18:00 hours).

Great day in Chobe. Saw a lot of animals. Very knowledgeable guides. First we did game drive and afterwards we did the cruise where we got even closer in on the animals. Lunch was also very good. Very good organised day. Remember to bring some USD cash for visa and for tips.

Just visited Victoria Falls and Chobe in Feb and it was so beautiful. Chobe safari was amazing, seen so many elephants, giraffes, hippos and a lion eating which was a rare experience to see. My little grand daughter enjoyed it too! Worth a visit

Our experience with Intondolo Safaris and Tours was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Our guides, Mickey and Yandiee, were timely, responsive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable—everything you could hope for in safari professionals. They made our safari at Chobe National Park a true 10/10 experience. Their deep understanding of the wildlife and ecosystem brought every game drive to life, and they were always eager to answer questions and share insights. We saw an incredible variety of animals, and it was clear they knew exactly where to go and how to position us for the best possible sightings. Beyond the safari itself, Mickey and Yandiee went above and beyond by organizing multiple transfers for us, ensuring safe, smooth, and punctual transportation throughout our trip. That level of care and attention made the entire experience stress-free and seamless. If you’re looking for a professional, well-organized, and unforgettable safari experience, Intondolo Safaris and Tours is an excellent choice. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone visiting the area.

There were so many elephants! We did see lions, giraffes, buffalo, and a very scary prehistoric looking croc. Take a hat, towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Water and soda are provided. My only issue is that I lodged in Zambia and had issues with my ride back across the borders.

This was an amazing once in a lifetime tour. Bryn picked me up at my hotel and took me to the Botswana border where he walked me through the border process. He then connected me to the Botswana company, Holiday Africa Safari and Tours. Richard picked me and two other people up at the Botswana border for a day trip to the Chobe National Park. Chose he was a great driver and tour guide, he made sure we saw many animals and we had enough time to take plenty of pictures. He made sure we had plenty of water and once the driving tour was completed, he took us to the a local resort for lunch. The buffet lunch was good and we had plenty of time to eat. to our boat for the river tour. The boat was small and the Captain's name was Large. He was knowledgable about all the animals and a great boat captain. He made sure we had time to take plenty of pictures and had lots of water. After the boat tour, company staff returned us to the border where we met with our original drivers. I would highly recommend both company's.
