All the guides were fantastic - patient, knowledgable, friendly and KEEN to make sure we saw as much as possible. And we saw alot! On the game drive, elephants, giraffe, impala, hippo, and even a rare and close-up glimose at a lioness. Spectacular! Lunch was plentiful and tasty in very comfy surrounds! And then the river cruise brought MORE wildlife - all kinds of birds, buffalo, crocs and monkeys, but for me, the hippos stole the show! A totally fulfilling day! You gotta do this!

We booked the Chobe day trip for a Nov 2024 tour. We were picked up promptly at 7 am by our driver, from our hotel in Zambia and driven to Botswana. Our driver was very pleasant and provided us info along the route. It was a great ride. In Botswana we started with the Chobe river tour…our guide, I forgot his name, was very knowledgeable about the river, the area, the animals. He even helped some guests find the birds we saw on the riverbank in their bird book. He was gracious, gave great instructions , and took very good care of all the passengers, maneuvering the boat so we can get a good look and capture our pics, The river cruise very scenic. We saw many animals and birds. Bring binoculars even though we saw the well enough without. We had lunch and it was a great selection buffet. We then went onto the safari part of the tour and saw all kind of animals, including elephants, giraffes and lions. Highl, highly recommend. I would do this tour again and stay overnight. Just lovely. I was glad the tour started with the river tour then the safari. The guides and drivers were very hospitable. The food at lunch, delicious What could have been done better? Well, I would do the day again without question. But I would say even though we knew what the tour entailed, a run down of the day’s activities timeline at the beginning would be helpful. Also an opportunity to buy souvenirs and take pic at the lunch stop.

I had a great experience with the chobe safari day trip. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and provided a great safari experience. Many animals were seen when we went. As someone who is new to international travel, the drivers were extremely helpful when crossing the Botswana border from Zambia and made the whole experience stress free

This is a great day trip to do from Livingstone/Victoria Falls, as you will see much more wildlife than in the national parks in the immediate vicinity of the falls. My driver picked me up promptly at 7 am and helped me quickly get through the Botswana border. Then I got into the car of the Botswanan guide with the rest of those going on the trip. We were very lucky and saw all the animals we expected to see - including a leopard. Would recommend 100%.

We were unlucky to have in our group a family with a small child, who was not interested in the safari and shouted or cried the whole time. She scared the animals several times and her parents did little to control her. The tour should advertise adults only, otherwise it may spoil the experience for everyone else. Also, the guide driver in the land part looked bored and in a rush all the time, in a stark contrast with the guide who was leading the boat trip, who was excellent! We have seen a lot of animals, especially on the water drive, which was truly fulfilling (except for the cries from the little girl)
