Very good. The chocolate making class at Bate Bate Chocolate was amazing! Our guide was very engaging and the experience was top notch. Kid friendly to the nth degree!

I have lots of photos. Hopefully I can upload them later. I was walking the town and just did a walk-in. They give you an option of a quick tour or wanting to participate in the workshop. I opted for the quick tour which was FREE. Of course, just tip and we walked about with some coco and brownie. I don't know what the cost is for the workshop but you can just pop-up and they will accommodate you.

This is a fabulously fun and informative experience. You will learn the historical and cultural significance of chocolate in Latin America from the pre-Colombian time through the present. Following this journey, you will make a cacao drink just like the indigenous peoples did, make the variation on drink in the way that the Spanish colonizers did, and then make your own chocolate bars. This is a hands-on experience, so be prepared to wear an apron and get your hands a little dirty as you have tons of fun making chocolate!

Not usually my thing, we visited the museum as a stop off during a ride on a horse-drawn carriage and it was superb. An excellent setting and an extremely amusing tour by a fully engaging team. And I spent some money without complaint, also unusual for me..! A very good tour that I highly recommend.

Anthony was our guide and he was really fun. Our family of four (two teenagers) were able to sample delicious chocolate and liqueurs as well as trying the ancient way of grinding the chocolate beans. This was a very good time and Anthony was fabulous. He also speaks great English!
