We loved this tour! They were so well organized and we got to see all 5 towns. There was free time at each location so we also got to choose what our day was like. The meeting points throughout the day were clear and communication was great. Jo was an amazing tour guide!

My family ranging from ages 21-57 thought this was an awesome trip. It was a great day visiting the 5 villages at Cinque Terre. Luca was a great tour leader, and he kept us organized, on time and informed about the day’s events. We had to catch several trains and a boat and get to lunch on time. He and the other tour guide, Maya, coordinated everything with ease. There was a lot of walking and climbing stairs at every village.

This was a lovely experience, and a great way to visit the UNESCO Heritage site of Cinque Terre. Finding the tour guides was very easy at the SM Novella Station. It was a 7 minute walk to catch the coach. The coach was comfortable, and they had water for sale on board. Our guides, Gianluca and Maya were very hospitable hosts, always eager to answer questions and help as needed. Thankfully, the weather was decent enough to get the optional boat ride from the 5th town back to the 1st town at the end of the day, which was a really great way to see each beautiful city. You do need to be in moderate physical condition as the town that you eat in, Corgnilia, has approximately 376 steps to reach it from the train station. Plus all of the other stairs in the other towns along the way. Information provided was good. There was a decent amount of time to check out shops, enjoy a gelato, or sit for a meal. Trains were infrequent so you had to stick to a pretty strict schedule or risk being left behind in a town. Overall, we were very happy with this tour, despite our weary feet.

Train from Genoa,( simple, perfectly well organized) allows you a real care, in order to fully enjoy, all this wild beauty, unique in the world, that is available to you. Coast rather preserved from ostentatious luxury and excessive prices (Positano, Amalfi). Go early in the morning, to escape the crowds, you will be delighted. (small tip: picnic and water to be provided)

Cinque Terrre (with hiking) was a great day trip from Florence. Our guides for the day were Coco and Angie, and they were very attentive and informative! They were very clear with their directions and answered all questions asked. They were both very friendly and pleasant, and kept us company throughout the day. Would totally recommend this tour! Just bring cash for potential boat transportation and lunch.
