Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
Suitable walking shoes are mandatory for those doing the hiking – no flip-flops. Suggestions: walking boots or sneakers, closed toe shoes with non-slip soles.
If you want to swim during free time, please remember to bring your own towel and swimwear.
On rare occasions the boat ride will stop operating due to bad weather or strong winds. It is beyond our control so no refunds or discounts will be issued.
In case of unexpected closure of the paths for unforeseen events, alternative routes will be taken instead for those doing the hiking
A large amount of walking is involved for those doing the hiking. You must be of average fitness and be able to keep up with the rest of the group.
Due to uneven surfaces, we cannot accept anyone with walking difficulties, below average fitness, or young children.
Minimum age is 8 years.

Prepare yourself for a truly unique journey where rich history and breathtaking natural landscapes combine to create an unforgettable experience. Sit back and relax aboard your comfortable, fully equipped luxury coach as we set off toward the world-famous Cinque Terre.
Your journey from Florence to the Cinque Terre starts by coach, where you can relax as your guide shares stories about the area. You'll hear tales about the Tuscan city of Lucca and its famous resident Puccini and see the Carrara marble quarries from the distance before learning about the Cinque Terre and its five fishing villages—Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Monterosso and Riomaggiore—that form the national park. Once you arrive in La Spezia, your expert tour leader will be there to guide you through the next part of your journey. Following their helpful instructions and insights, you’ll make your way to board the train and continue your adventure.

Cinque Terre Tour with PISA
This option includes the visit of three Cinque Terre villages and Pisa
Cinque Terre Tour - NO HIKING
This option does not include the hiking part of the tour. It will be used the train instead, to move between villages.
Cinque Terre Tour WITH HIKING
This option includes some hiking to move between the Cinque Terre villages.
CINQUE TERRE - TRANSPORT ONLY
TRANSPORT ONLY: This option includes ONLY the coach transportation from Florence to Cinque Terre and back on the same day.

5.00Our tour guide Luca was the best!! Shared lots of information - but not overwhelming. He was very approachable and easy to talk to. Communicated all the details of the traveling bits very well and when needed. The tour visited the Cinque Terre area by bus, train and boat followed by a quick visit to Pisa. Very busy day but was interesting the entire time. Will definitely look for Walkabout Tours at other destinations.

5.00Luca was an absolutely amazing tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable about the locations and will accommodate for everyone. The locations for the tour were beautiful and the organization of everything was superb. We had to navigate among different types of transportation throughout the trip, and Luca always kept us on time. Thanks for a wonderful day!

5.00Angela did a great job of keeping us organized and providing the information needed to keep @ 40 people; on 3 separate agendas, on track even with a train reschedule. Somehow everyone was on the bus home on time. Positives: we saw all 5 towns of the Cinque Terra and those who wanted got hike the blue trail from Corniglia to Vernazza. The lunch in Corniglia (Ristorante Cecio Camere) had a vey representative regional lunch if you chose. It was ready when we arrived and good. Negatives: The lunch and the boat ride are not included in the tour required cash only. Each person needed to have 30€. A reasonable price (especially for the lunch) but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. A bar was recommended for wine tasting in Monterosso never waited on us in the limited time we had there. I would have liked a little more history info but there was some narrative on the bus ride. A word of caution; there are a LOT of steps even if you take the shuttle in Corniglia and the trail very rocky.

5.00We enjoyed this tour very much. Our guides, Chris and Irene were very informative and helpful. There was an accident on the way to our destination causing us to be delayed. We did not have as much time in each stop but they did a nice job trying to accommodate us. Cinque Terre was a beautiful area. A must see while in the Florence area!

5.00What an AMAZING tour group!! To say that Chris and Gerry were absolutely the BEST is inadequate! We booked this tour on a whim while feeling a little disappointed in Rome- don't come for me. We accidentally booked only the transport but after meeting the guides (Chris and Gerry) we realized we wanted to book the tour too. They made it so easy to change the booking and simply gave them the cash to make the change. Walkabout quickly sent us an email with the updated ticket. It was a breeze! The lunch was delicious and the boat ride spectacular! All the beautiful scenery and delicious eats aside, Chris and Gerry really did make the tour the special day that it was. It was clear they both LOVE what they do! Chris shared recipes (THANK YOU Chris!) and Gerry spent extra time with our family discussing the Italian culture and life in general (THANK YOU Gerry!). It was a once in a lifetime trip made extra special by Walk about and the wonderful guides. DO NOT HESITATE! BOOK IT! Also of note was the female guide (I can't remember her name- I'm sorry). She was fabulous too but we didn't spend nearly as much time with her since she went with the Pisa group, so her name escapes me. She was so knowledgable and kind, we would have enjoyed her as well. 5.00This was recommended to me and it didn’t disappoint , the whole tour from start to finish was brilliant Davide our tour guide was exceptional and everything was explained to us at all stops and he made it so simple to move on within the tour I did the hike and it was brilliant and so glad I did it although it was hot and tough and I was really looking forward to the boat ride back and seeing cinque terre from the ocean but this cancelled due to water conditions but the trains were simple and so easy with Davides help Skipping the lines for tickets was also a bonus as got quite busy Our group was nice to, just 23 and everyone was friendly I highly recommend this tour too Thankyou everyone
