It was a great introduction to the city neighborhoods and to city history. I always start a visit with a hop on hop off tour.

Convenient way to see the various sights of Copenhagen with some fun facts on the tour. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Buses were comfortable and clean. There are three routes and for some of them (e.g. the green route) the last bus departs early in the day in winter which is something to be aware of and plan ahead for. There can be a long wait between buses, but at some of the key stops (e.g. The Little Mermaid Statue) the bus stays there a bit longer to allow you to hop off, take some photos, and hop back on the same bus. Unfortunately the bus tracking app did not work for us.

Disappointing experience with city sightseeing customer service. I have used this company in other cities and always had a great experience. They have refused to refund our tickets or provide any compensation even though they have admitted the service wasn’t fully running that day. We had one day in Copenhagen so bought a bus ticket to see everything in one afternoon. After getting off for lunch, the bus never returned to our stop. We wasted time waiting for the bus, then walking to another stop, then upon checking the tracking app we saw the bus we were waiting for taking a different route, skipping stop 10 & 11 where we had been waiting. We had wasted so much time, our only option at that point was to walk 20 minutes to stop number 1 in order to catch the last bus back to our hotel. In doing so, we missed out on all the stops after stop 11 which we were hoping to see in our short stay. I contacted the company last week and they have admitted the bus changed route that day due to a parked car on the road - but even so they won’t issue us any refund as it’s ’not Their fault’ They closed two bus stops and left no sign at the stop and left no notification on the bus tracking app. The bus driver was also well aware we got off at this stop but never returned. I feel like we have been scammed. The tickets aren’t cheap and not worth the service we received. I wouldn’t use this company again. If you have mobility issues don’t bother as you may end up stranded.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with City Sightseeing. I had to cancel my ticket due to a sudden family emergency that required immediate travel back to the UK. Despite explaining the situation clearly, the company refused any refund, insisting on documentation that simply cannot exist for private, last-minute road travel. While their policy states tickets are “non-refundable” and remain valid, in practice it will be impossible for me to use the ticket in the future, making the “valid ticket” solution completely impractical. I feel the company handled this situation very rigidly and without any goodwill or flexibility, and their customer service was frustratingly unhelpful. Genuine emergencies should be treated with understanding, not a strict insistence on impossible proof. I would caution other travelers: this company strictly enforces policies over fairness, even in exceptional circumstances.

we began our excursion at the Train Station. We only made it to Nyhavn where we made our first exit. We missed the next bus so instead of waiting 45 min we walked to the church and palace. We were 5 steps from the bus and he took off. We waited another 45 minutes and he drove by without stopping. By this time we were frozen and frustrated and took an uber home. We would like to request a replacement of 4 of our tickets to be good for Saturday February 7. We attempted to follow the app and it was very spotty as to when it worked. We attempted to do a chat on the app and no one replied. My confirmation number was 1741116113 booking ref nunber 1358095605

STAY AWAY FROM Royal City Sightseeing RCS A/S. We had to get off at the NEXT POSSIBLE STOP because it was extremely cold on the bus (only the driver had a little heating). Basically, it's a scam in winter. It would be better to travel with another company. It was a bus waiting in front of the Tivoli Hotels for advertising, and it looked so similar to the RED company bus and also looked normal from the outside; since my mother can't walk very well anymore, I thought the closer the stop, the better. But yes, maybe good in summer, but this way you'll just get a bladder infection...

The rides start at 10am and end at 3pm. Between a bus and another you wait up to 30 minutes in the cold! I took the first red bus to Tivoli at 11am and stopped to see Nyhaven (the double bus had immediately arrived and left) and then to take the next bus I waited 30 minutes. I went all the way around and then I got off at Tivoli to take the green bus and waited 30 minutes in the cold (at 0 degrees) there is no way to monitor waiting times and organize accordingly to eat. Then I arrived not the green bus at the Carlsberg location where I was planning to eat, but the restaurant was closed for a private event and was not indicated on social media. The bus when we got off said that this was the last ride and that it would not pass there again. So I had to call an Uber cab, because I'm disabled and I take the bus on hop because I don't walk a lot. I made myself taken to bus stop 1 to take the third line that goes to Cristiania, but alas it was 3pm and it had already left. And the girl on the bus told me to get off at the bus stop and take a "good walk on foot" in addition to the damage the mockery. Lastly, they have no reduction in fares for disabled people who are not considered in Denmark. In fact, here the European disability card has no value, neither on trains, nor in museums! What to say? On Hop in Copenhagen and 'bad and I took many, the' last in October in Helsinki. Also the guide story and' shallow and shallow, few historical notes and no note of costume, just banality'! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS EXPERIENCE

We booked the hop on hop off service online so we could have a day easier on the kegs and to see more of the city. We were provided with headphones and a narrated guide in our chosen language. You could hop on and off at any stop of your choosing. Very convenient and easy to follow. We did all 3 routes offered.

Don’t even think about taking Royal-City Sightseeing. It's a scam. In my life I saw a dirtier bus, really vomiting. We were kept waiting in front of the little mermaid stop for almost an hour. Helmets weren't working in any of the three seats... because I can't put pictures up but I was never so uncomfortable with so much garbage on a bus... normal that we were 6 people on the whole tour... the other companies will see that they are going to stop people and you will constantly see the buses pass... hopefully my humble opinion will help you. Don't fall!!!! It's really throwing away the money!

Royal-City Sightseeing is an absolute scam!! Unbelievably bad. Hardly any bus sequence, lousy audio guide. Skips stops. Left us at the Little Mermaie more than 1hr in the freezing cold. Never ever ever use that company. ANY other company is better.
