I thoroughly enjoyed the hop on hop off experience in the city of Edinburgh. It was a great way to get the lay of the land and to see the whole city. I went around all stops before getting off just to see everything first. I would highly recommend this tour option for anyone visiting Edinburgh for the first time. I was challenged finding where to catch the hop on and hop off, so it’s best to ask a local or a hotel concierge as there are many different stops in different locations

With buses running every 20 minutes it was easy to travel. My husband and I travelled with our two year old grandson. We only had a short time in Edinburgh so it was a good way to see more than we could in foot

Great views of the city, very detailed tour! Loved the horrible histories option for the audio. Great stop options too. If you’re interested in history or just want to learn more about the city I would definitely recommend doing this.

Hop on Hop off is the best way to get an overview of any city. The Edinburgh tour was excellent. Great narration and good route. The bus driver was very helpful.

Great way to see the city! Travel to many spots of interest while listening to recorded tales of history about Edinburgh. All the staff were delightful and friendly and very welcoming. Get on, go to your local destination and get back on!!!

This was a very good on and off tour bus tour. We used it all day, and very much enjoyed the narrative and ease of visiting museums and interesting areas.

This was a last minute decision on our trip to Edinburgh and I’m really glad that we did! It was £18 for myself and my son was free. You can join at any of the stops, you get given your headphones when you hop on the bus. Plug them in and listen to the audio - the kids have a different one (Horrible Histories) which was great for my 5 year old. The ticket we had was unlimited rides for 24 hours - you can get off at any stop and back on again when you ready. It was lovely to see all of the sights. We loved it!
