We purchased tickets for our young kids to see London for the first time and attempted to board the Green Route near King’s Cross. The official app initially showed a bus arriving in around 10 minutes, so we decided to wait rather than change plans. However, after standing at the stop for over an hour with two young children getting hungry, bored and frustrated, the bus never actually arrived. The live tracking was clearly inaccurate — the bus appeared to barely move on the map while the ETA slowly counted down from 10 minutes to 4 minutes over the course of an hour. We eventually lost all confidence in the information being provided and had to give up and pay for a rival sightseeing service instead. What made this even more frustrating was the completely inconsistent information. The bus stop signage stated buses every 20–30 minutes, while the app claimed the route operated every 90 minutes. The bus telemetry data was clearly untrue. Meanwhile, over a dozen competitor sightseeing buses passed during the time we were waiting. I contacted customer service requesting a refund as we were effectively unable to use the service we paid for. Their response was simply that the route was operating “as planned” and no refund would be offered, no acknowledgement of errors in their system or incorrect signage at the bus stop or any gesture of goodwill. I also noticed the day after I complained and received a denial from city sightseeing, the telemetry data for the green route had mysteriously been switched off. Poor communication, unreliable tracking, and very disappointing customer service. I would not recommend.

All the staff members were friendly. The buses did not run as often as described. One line closed early. ( or the description was wrong that we read online) The recording was informative.

Good way of seeing the sights around London, audio guide is good. Traffic can make this a bit of a time waster - we ended up getting off early and walking to where we wanted to go as traffic was at a standstill. Check the website to see if there are any changes to the planned map stops if there are events in the city.

The operator saw me scanning the QR code, offered me a family discount and ended up charging me $30 USD MORE than the QR code/app route. I’m incredibly upset, and sincerely hope no one else gets ripped off by this guy. He’s an operator in Piccadilly Circus. Taking clear advantage of tourists.

We waited more than 90 minutes for the bus and they never stopped. We tried to resolve directly with them but they wanted nothing to do with us and directed us back to trip advisor. Found out later they just stop using #10 on our route but did not communicate with us or at the pickup stop. Apparently we were expected to be telepathic. Do not recommend and won’t even bother with them ever again.
