Can't fault City Sightseeing but the idea of the bus in Rome is really not worth it. The main sights are all within areas this bus cannot reach and very walkable even with my arthritis. Also the day we booked was the 2026 Marathon and was even less to see. The way the tour is given is also very dated

It was great. There were fewer stops because of construction, but got to see what we wanted to see. Just be sure you get the right ticket to get on and off as ours didn’t allow it.

The overall experience was very positive. The fact that you see the sites comfortably seated on a bus gives you time to later experience them on foot.

The bus was easy to find and on time. Well worth the time. The bus had narration throughout in many languages. Don't forget your plug in ear phones. If you do forget, they will supply some very cheap ones. Still better than nothing.

Did not end up using cuz not enough activation spots. I did not have time and energy to activate at airport.

This used to be a really good way to see Rome but we were very disappointed this time. We spent 2 hours on a single trip, mostly sitting in traffic, which is caused by many roadworks around the city and sheer volume of traffic. At the Vatican stop we waited 40 minutes for a bus, on another occasion. I would not use it again as so much time is wasted.

It’s a terrible experience. Only took two stops of it. When in the bus the service was good. If it out of bus, you can’t expect the time it’s coming. Give up after multiple tries. Finished the touring by feet.

Bad experience i would suggest trying other bus companies. There info says bus runs every 15-20 mins this was not the case waited approx 1 hr. their comments say check the QR code it didnt work i think only one bus working on the route was the problem and it finished at Termini @ 5.50pm end of day!!!

Allow more time then we had. Because of time constraints, we only had a couple of hours. Did get to see what was promised, it would have been nice if we could have gotten off and explored in depth.

Worthwhile views of the city also giving opportunities to see where we could visit. However, one stop Colesseum was closed which meant a long walk to the next. Very busy as well.
