Did not end up using cuz not enough activation spots. I did not have time and energy to activate at airport.

This used to be a really good way to see Rome but we were very disappointed this time. We spent 2 hours on a single trip, mostly sitting in traffic, which is caused by many roadworks around the city and sheer volume of traffic. At the Vatican stop we waited 40 minutes for a bus, on another occasion. I would not use it again as so much time is wasted.

It’s a terrible experience. Only took two stops of it. When in the bus the service was good. If it out of bus, you can’t expect the time it’s coming. Give up after multiple tries. Finished the touring by feet.

Bad experience i would suggest trying other bus companies. There info says bus runs every 15-20 mins this was not the case waited approx 1 hr. their comments say check the QR code it didnt work i think only one bus working on the route was the problem and it finished at Termini @ 5.50pm end of day!!!

Allow more time then we had. Because of time constraints, we only had a couple of hours. Did get to see what was promised, it would have been nice if we could have gotten off and explored in depth.

Worthwhile views of the city also giving opportunities to see where we could visit. However, one stop Colesseum was closed which meant a long walk to the next. Very busy as well.

Yellow bus line the German translation was very bad. It was a Google translation voice that also translated incorrectly in 2026. Red bus line the German translation was better. Headphone jack was not good as the pause music was always much too loud and the voice was then too quiet. Furthermore, many aux sockets are defective so you can change the volume by turning the aux plug. In Cape Town we found this company top but in Rome you should switch to the other companies.

We are in Rome at the moment and like many others have had a very poor experience with City Sightseeing. We wanted to use the buses to travel between attractions but unfortunately there are so few buses it means you are often having to at least an hour which means a lot of valuable time wasted. I absolutely would not recommend this company!

The bus tour goes through the main monuments but on 2 hours there is 1 hour stop. The comments are minimalist there is mostly music to listen to.

We booked online the night before and seemed a reasonable price to get our bearings in the city. It did that, so I have rated average. it may be the time of year we travelled but there didn’t seem many buses, we had to wait 30 minutes for each time we ‘hopped off’ and had to sit downstairs in one trip as no room upstairs. The information wasn’t inline with the drive so was confusing at times and didn’t answer what I thought would be obvious questions.
