As first time visitors to Toronto we thought it would be great to see the main dights via the hop on hop off tour. The bus went to the main places of interest and we got to know where we would want to revisit. However our experience wasn't the best. We booked our tickets on line, but not being familiar with the city we couldn’t find where to get the bus and had to ask street police personnel several times where to go. Frustrating. Having found one of the pick up points we settled on the bus and a young lady was giving a commentary of where we were and background of its history However we couldn’t hear anything she said. Again frustrating. In the end we did about half the tour and gave up. On previous experiences of such tours we have had headphones so that we could at least hear the information . Would have preferred that on this occasion.

Nice experience and a the pop on and off feature is a good way to travel between some on the local sites. If nothing else, it pays for itself in the transportation cost and convenience.

A little expensive but worth it if it’s your first time visiting Toronto and want to see the whole city. Take advantage of the discounted rates for other excursions with this ticket - we did the Toronto island ferry and it was only $12 per person and it was well worth it.

The tour was great as was the commentary. The only issue was the wait to be picked up at one of the stops. We had to wait 45 minutes and then two buses came at almost the same time.

Very knowledgeable and entertaining guides, and a great way to get to know the city (and travel around thereafter)
