On this tour you will experience the highlights of several centuries in about 40 minutes and can then explore the city on your own, join a guided tour on foot or take a trip on the Main e.g. to Veitshöchheim.

5.00The train was punctual, but the announcement was very loud and unregulated without headphones. The cars are heated. Despite six degrees outside temperature, we opened the windows in the meantime. Great ride.

5.00The pummel railway is a train that runs very slowly. We had fellow passengers who were already complaining before departure we are supposed to close all windows in front, they can't take drafts. People who can't take draughts should sit at the front, so you can leave the windows open at the back.
Worth it for orientation. Don't get excited.

4.00Very rough in the back carriage. Avoid front seat as there is not enough leg room. Would have liked to cross over river to experience other side. Covered most points of interest. Free coffee outlet some distance from drop off point without any direction from operaters.
