Guide Tip
The Brickhouse Inn, formerly the Old Welty House, played a pivotal role during the Battle of Gettysburg, serving as a vantage point for Confederate sharpshooters who occupied its second floor and attic. Today, the lingering spirits of these soldiers are said to haunt the inn, their presence a chilling reminder of the fierce conflict that once raged there.
The Witness Tree along Baltimore Street in Gettysburg stands as a silent sentinel to the brutal fighting that occurred during the Battle of Gettysburg. This ancient tree, present during the bloodshed, is believed to hold the echoes of those fateful days, with some claiming to hear whispers of the past in its rustling leaves.

Mikaela was such a great tour guide. She was knowledgeable and took time to really explain so much of the history of Gettysburg. Even if you aren't into the whole "ghost" thing, there was so much to learn about Gettysburg and the people who lived through the Civil War. Lasts about an hour and it's not very intensive walking, but there is a decent amount of it. Highly recommend.

Diane was great! She was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a fun time ghosting hunting. We used all kinds of tools to talk to the ghost and got a lot of responses!

Our tour guide Matt Vandergrift was very nice and made our hunt fun. We did the 2 hour hunt in both places. He explained about the house and the people who lived and died there. We got lucky and had a small group of 8. The people we were on the hunt with were very interactive and had lots of things happening to them. Getting really hot or cold. From being poked and having hair messed with. I felt like I got poked in the middle of my back. It most likely was the children from the orphanage who spend time here so they don't have to feel like they'll be in trouble.

Richard was a knowledgeable and kind tour guide. I knew he knew what he was talking about when he said he was a history teacher. He was super passionate about the history. He also added more facts as we walked along Gettysburg. 10/10 would recommend! We had a great time! 😊

Adored Amber, the tour was just the right length and very informative on lesser known pieces of Gettysburg as a town during the battle and the horrible aftermath. Would definitely recommend!

Quite a great experience being that I live this close to this town and have never experienced a ghost tour. Take the time to just experience it. I learned so many things.
