  • Incredible Trip Thanks to Lizandro

I just finished the 4 day / 3 night Inka Trail trek with Panaka. Their team gave me the most incredible experience. First of all, if you ever get the chance to do the Inka Trail - PLEASE do it. It was the best trek of my life, in large part because of Lizandro (my guide) and my chef and porters from Panaka. I saw stunning views, learned so much about the mountains, the plants, the animals, the Incas, and Peru. The food that Panaka made was extraordinary - I genuinely do not know how they managed to cook some of the things they made for me on the trail. I'm vegetarian, and chef Jhon managed to make me some of the best meals of my life in the middle of the mountains. My arrangements felt luxurious the entire time. These are really genuine, good people that want their guests to have an amazing experience. I cannot recommend Lizandro and Panaka enough.

  • Incredible service, the best time you can have on the Inca Trail

We did the 4 day classic Inca trail hike with Panaka travel, they are a newer company but have a lot of previous experience and all this combined meant they took care of us in great detail. Aldo was our guide on the trail, you couldn’t ask for a better one, he knew everything about not only the history but also the wildlife and nature he had an answer for all our questions. The porters were fantastic, it’s such a hard job but they always looked happy to be there, laughing with each other the whole time and always extremely polite to us. The chef and food were amazing, every meal and plate were different and to be honest better than most restaurants, I don’t know how they did it. They even made us a cake for our honeymoon up a mountain in the middle of nowhere, crazy. Lisandro the owner helped us before arriving in Peru and the whole time during with recommendations for anything we asked, he even picked us up and dropped us off from the airport. Everything was priced clearly and a bargain for what you get, they provide a detailed sheet beforehand which explains, the entire travel itinerary, what to expect, how to pack and advice on weather. These guys are the best that’s all you need to know.
