What To Expect

Train Cemetery

They are remains of the locomotives of the ninth century and the beginning of the twentieth century are a must-see attraction in the visit to Uyuni, place to take artistic photographs. These locomotives are of German and English industry and were used to extract the ore from Cerro Rico of Potosí.

It is a town located 23 km., North of the city of Uyuni, families are engaged in the extraction and processing of salt with rustic instruments and traditional tools, here we will visit a museum of the salt production process, where You can appreciate the art in salt.

This tour was excellent! Our guide, Ezekiel, was there when we arrived at the airport, took us to a local place for a good (and cheap!) breakfast, and was knowledgeable about the country, as a whole, and Uyuni and Salt Flats, in particular. Our driver, Omar, was great as well, and they both took great photos and videos of our tour group. They also made sure we got a good pizza dinner before we got on the bus back to La Paz. I would highly recommend them!
