5.00I went on a longer, 9 day tour with Marco Polo in Tajikistan. I recommend them very highly for your visit to Tajikistan. The highlights were hiking around Voru village and to the lake at Artuch. Said Muhammad and his family are all lovely. Their guest house in Ruknobod is very comfortable and the food there is excellent (and abundant!). Communication is outstanding. Muhammad also was extremely fair dealing with me, allowing me to cancel my tour at the last minute because of being stuck in Dubai during the attacks. He applied my deposit to a trip I was able to manage a few weeks later. Very trustworthy operator.
