The Cliffs of Moher host major colonies of nesting sea birds and are one of the country’s most important bird-breeding sites. The area has been designated a Special Protection Area (SPA) for Birds.
Bunratty Castle and Folk Park
Visit the acclaimed 15th Century iconic Bunratty Castle - the most complete and authentic castle in Ireland. The site on which Bunratty Castle stands was in origin a Viking trading camp in 970. The present structure is the last of four castles to be built on the site. Take a tour of this iconic fortress; hear and see how the lords and ladies of this castle lived; hear stories of battles and bravery and enjoy stunning views across the idyllic Clare countryside.

It’s a karst landscape of bedrock incorporating a vast cracked pavement of glacial-era limestone, with cliffs and caves, fossils, rock formations and archaeological sites. On the Atlantic coast, the precipitous Cliffs of Moher are home to thousands of seabirds, including puffins.

5.00Cliffs of Moher were sooo Beautiful. I really enjoyed my tour. As I was alone, John, the Chauffeur, was so attentive and kind to me, with a wicked sense of humour. No stress of crowded buses and queing up etc. Highly recommend.

5.00We recently did 5 days with VIP tours in a customized pack we did the 2 days at the Cliffs of Moher & Galway, it was stunning! The views, the landscape the seafood, the villages it was all breath-taking and over whelming. Then Galway was so much fun and so uninhibited I can’t remember when we sang and danced so much. Then we did 2 days at the Giants Causeway that was an adventure and a history lesson, literally walking in the footsteps, so many bridges and distilleries, just amazing. Then on the last day we did Dublin and of course the Guinness Hop store and the sights in the city. John was amazing, it really was traveling in luxury, it made going to places and getting about so easy and allowed us to enjoy the trip rather than trying to work it all out on someone else's schedule. We worked with John to get the customized trip that we wanted in the way that we wanted it, and, in the end, it felt like we had a friend with us all the way. John was so knowledgeable, with great chat and banter we had fun every day. It was just so comfortable and enjoyable that it was hard to let him go at the end, we felt like we left someone behind, we did, it was John! I would highly recommend VIP tours, and we will be back for the Waterford and Cork leg the next time we are already making plans. If you ae thinking of VIP tours, just do it, you wont regret it.

5.00This is the most incredibly stress-free (and fun) way to enjoy some iconic places in Ireland. It has been a while since I've been home to Ireland, and my girlfriends and I had an awesome time. Our driver was amazing, really knowledgeable and made sure we didn't miss a thing, as I'm not sure we actually did miss that leprechaun! He was also very patient with our incessant chatting throughout! Such a great experience - thank you!!
