We depart Galway at 10:00 and begin your tour by exploring the Burren region. The first stop is Dunguaire Castle and Kinvara, where we take approximately 15 minutes to view the outside of the castle. Continuing on to Poulnabrone Dolmen, one of the most ancient religious sites in Ireland at 5800 years old, we make another short stop of approximately 10-15 minutes.
We then stop in the quaint fishing village of Doolin to enjoy some lunch for around 45-50 minutes (lunch is NOT included in the ticket cost).
After that, we arrive at the Cliffs of Moher where we have a stop of 2 hours of free time. This is the highlight of the day with ample time to walk the cliff edge and enjoy one of the most incredible natural sites in the world!
Once finished, we return to Galway via the Coast Road with spectacular views over the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, returning to Galway city centre at 18:15.

Gary did an outstanding job as guide/bus driver, giving a running commentary over the bus PA system while expertly driving the bus through some fairly narrow roads. We made multiple stops where we were allowed to leave the bus for close up views of various attractions for a specified period. The time allotted was well chosen and Gary had a funny way of ensuring that there were no stragglers holding up progress. There were 32 guests on our trip, but the size could be as high as 60. Because all the explanations were given over the PA system, even a group of 60 would be able get all needed explanations. The sights were spectacular and I would give this tour my highest recommendation.

Gary was absolutely wonderful and full of great knowledge. The Dolmen and Cliffs of Moher were outstanding and something on my bucket list. Thank you!

Patrick was our driver and guide. He was very funny and gave us tons of history. It was cloudy so the cliffs were a bit underwhelming and the trail was closed. The Burren was pretty neat. I was disappointed in Doolin. Only enough time to eat at McGann’s . No shopping at the cute shops. We didn’t even see them. I had seen photos of the pink store in other traveller posts and was hoping to see it and others. Patrick also played Irish music along the way which was really nice.

If you can somehow pick your tour guide, pick Gary. He was so funny and knowledgeable. It’s great the entrance fee for the cliffs is included in ticket price and while there is an efficiently timed and run stop for lunch, it’s not mandatory. We wish we’d skipped it as it was expensive in my opinion for not too great of food. There was a bathroom on board and lots of little stops along the way, some with restrooms and some without. We did two trips via Galway tours via viator and recommend them both.

Really great trip with Gary, driver and tour guide. Plenty of stops, great insights to what we would see and generous amount of time to see everything. We appreciated the lunch stop at a pub, much nicer than at the Cliffs. Highly recommend this company, tour and overall experience.
