In the afternoon, we set off on an extraordinary journey from Paraty to Paraty-Mirim, a village renowned for its peaceful beaches and inviting rivers. Our adventure then takes us to the breathtaking Saco do Mamanguá, the world's only tropical fjord, known for its stunning beaches. We start with a delightful boat ride, gliding through the sparkling waters towards the base of Sugar Loaf Mountain. After disembarking, we embark on a challenging 40-minute hike through the lush forest, navigating uneven terrain. However, the effort pays off as we reach the summit, standing 420 meters above ground level. From here, we are rewarded with an unparalleled panoramic view of Saco do Mamanguá, where the natural beauty of this wonder unfolds before our eyes. The trail concludes with a gentle climb atop a rock, adding a final touch to our unforgettable experience.
