It was the last day on our cruise and this tour far exceeded our expectations - our guide was the best!! MarySol eloquently articulated the history and culture of Cobh in a way that made the city come alive for us and kept our undivided attention. She had a magnetic, friendly personality that made the day perfect! We had been trying to decide whether to take one of the cruise ship's excursions to Cork or several other close by cities. After researching what there was to see in Cobh (Colman Cathedral, "Deck of Cards," houses, the John F. Kennedy Memorial Park, to name just a few!) we decided to opt for the 2-hour Viator tour. It was PERFECT! We learned so much and, after walking back to the ship for a quick lunch, we returned to Cobh and spent the rest of the afternoon exploring and even enjoyed pints at a pub, sitting outside watching people and soaking up sun. We were enchanted by this quaint city of 1,200. You can make comments when you reserve this tour. I would highly suggest you ask if MarySol might be available for your dates!!
