I invite you to discover Cartagena with me through Colombian coffee. We will walk through the charming streets of the old city, visiting special places where the best local coffee is enjoyed.
Throughout the tour I will tell you stories and aspects of our culture, while we prepare different coffee methods together – such as French press, filtering and espresso – and taste unique varieties of Colombian bean.
Between aromas and flavors, you will live an experience that unites tradition, history and the authentic spirit of Cartagena.

We will explore local coffee shops and discover different types of Colombian coffee as we walk through Cartagena’s most picturesque colonial streets, perfect for photos and to learn about the city’s culture and history. You will live a special coffee class where you will know the complete process: from the plant and harvest, to the roasting and the preparation methods. You will learn to taste like an expert, identifying unique aromas and notes in an unforgettable sensory experience. The best thing: you will have the opportunity to prepare your own Colombian coffee method, guided by passionate baristas who will share with you secrets and techniques to achieve a perfect cuppa. Our family loved this experience. It is in a nice dining room off the street level. We showed up early and they arranged to start early to accommodate us. Alejandra was so knowledgeable about the fruits and shared her personal experiences as a child trying these fruits. She knew all the various ways to enjoy them. The ice cream making was fun too

The tour was great and I'm not a coffee drinker. Alexis is very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. I have already recommended this tour to 5 other tourists. This was one of the best local experiences I have had since arriving in Columbia. I would highly recommend. The barista at Senior titis (named for an endanger Colombian monkey) was also a pleasure to get to know. I can't wait to go back and try the restaurant upstairs. It's a great cause with exceptional service. You won't be disappointed. Oh, Alexis also offers salsa dancing classes. Please check it out Experience Cartagena Tours.

The coffee tour in Cartagena was one of the best experiences of the trip. Everything happened in a relaxed and very authentic atmosphere, without forcing anything. We learned a lot about the coffee process, from how it’s grown to how it’s prepared, but the nicest thing was to do it closely, with people who really love what they do. We tasted amazing coffees, unlike anything we had had before. It was not only informative, but also very enjoyable. You leave with another look at coffee and eager to continue exploring flavors. I would do it again without hesitation.

So much fun!!!! Loved the coffee and all the baristas were very knowledgeable and kind. We walked to 3 different cafes, tried different coffee and were bubbling from our caffeine buzz the rest of the afternoon.
