What To Expect
During the activity customers will know different coffee extraction processes, where they will have a cup of specialty coffee, within this activity customers will see how it is exposed and how they can have a cup of excellence, know about the 8 coffee regions of Guatemala, know part of the processes, and how it is marketed in Guatemala , know the difference in a specialty coffee and a commercial coffee, how coffee was introduced to Guatemala, we will know the company of Jesus since it had to see part of the history of coffee in Guatemala. This includes: Coffee explanation. Coffee tasting.

5.00This coffee workshop was great! We loved learning about the different coffee-making methods and getting the hands-on experience of doing it ourselves. It also helped that the location was near the center and easily accessible to other must-see places in Antigua.

5.00We had originally thought about a farm tour, but that didn't work with our schedule. This coffee workshop was a great alternative for sampling Guatemalan coffee while learning more about cultivation and brewing. 14 year old found it alright as well.

5.00The workshop was friendly and easy to understand. The team that teaches it are prepared people, with whom you enjoy learning for a subject as coarse as coffee. The teachings of the methods are useful to assimilate but above all it is an extremely pleasant experience and enriching.

We first took a walk to learn about the origin of coffee in Guatemala, then they did a presentation for us and afterward it was a very hands on class learning all different techniques and ways to make coffee. We then tried each cup! We learned way more than we thought we would! It was definitely a fun activity to do in Antigua!

5.00We had a great morning in the coffee shop. Carlos’ enthusiasm was very engaging and we learned a lot about the different brewing methods. The bag of specialty coffee to take home was certainly a bonus! Recommended for coffee lovers especially if you would like to get to know something else than espressos and lattes.
