Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs or bikes) may have certain restrictions, please inquire with the operator prior to travel to confirm if your excess luggage is acceptable.
At time of booking, passengers must provide airline and flight number and whatsapp number while abroad.
We use several vehicles with different characteristics to adapt to the needs of each client. All of our vehicles are official private Taxis.
Once the booking is made, the passenger receives a confirmation via email or WhatsApp with details such as the driver information and vehicle details.
The assigned driver prepares the vehicle, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and ready for the journey.
The driver arrives at the designated pick-up point at your chosen time.
Driver assists the passenger with loading their luggage into the vehicle.
The driver ensures a comfortable and safe journey, adhering to speed limits and traffic regulations. The vehicle may be equipped with amenities such as air conditioning.
Depending on the duration of the journey (approximately 1-7 hours), the driver may take breaks at rest stops or for refreshments, ensuring passenger comfort.

In case you experience difficulties in locating the driver you can always call our customer support, which will arrange the meeting immediately. Will I be dropped off at my accommodation? Yes, all our services are door-to-door. The driver will take you directly to the address you gave us during the booking. What if my flight is delayed? All flights are monitored for delays to ensure your driver will be waiting for you when you arrive. There are no extra charges if your flight is delayed. Will anyone else be traveling in the vehicle I booked? No, we only offer private transfer services, the price you pay reserves the vehicle exclusively for you. The duration of the journey depend on accordigly your Drop-off location. (approximately 1-7 hours), the driver may take breaks at rest stops or for refreshments, ensuring passenger comfort. 5.00Pick up arranged from the airport. On time. Friendly and a good price from Colombo to Hikkaduwa. Also arranged a bespoke tour with Chaminda and he independently came up with an itinery I had in mind. Went to Udawalawe National Park and on to the Handunugoda tea plantation. I could have arranged it all myself but it was really great to have someone on the ground doing all the background stuff for us. Took away the hassle. Meant we could relax and put our heads down for the really early 5am departure! Would recommend and should I return to Sri Lanka anytime soon then I wouldn't have any issue with booking with Chaminda and TravelHikka.
