DO NOT USE ANCIENT AND RECENT We booked with this company for the Colosseum and arrived at 9:15 a.m (Which was the time listed in the email) So automatically the tickets were issued at 9.15am only giving us just 15 minutes to get to the entrance of the colosseum. Any company with basic common sense would immediately tell customers to go straight to the entrance when time is that tight considering there is a 7 minute walk to the entrance from their office. Instead, the staff wasted those crucial minutes explaining what to do with the app and to connect to their wifi etcetera to download videos and all, considering the time constraint we could have done that at the entrance of colosseum but they did not advise us at any time that there was a time constraint or that there was any reason to rush. Completely unnecessary, completely avoidable, and incredibly irresponsible. By the time we reached the Colosseum (6 minutes late), we were denied entry. This entire situation could have been easily avoided if the staff had used even a bit of judgment. When we called to fix the issue, we were met with zero accountability. We were told there was “nothing they could do,” no manager available, no solution offered. When we asked for a refund, same answer nothing. This wasn’t just poor service it was a total lack of responsibility and basic competence. A complete waste of money and time. Avoid this company unless you like being scammed.

Do not book with this App. The company canceled on us at the last minute after we traveled all the way from the US! Find another way or be stuck wondering around looking for alternatives. The excuse was they were too busy. Very disappointing and not acceptable when dragging your family around to Rome!

The tour was nice to be able to enjoy flexibility while getting info about the sites. Worked well for our whole family. Directions were helpful and felt it was worth it. Wished though that the tour focused a little more on life of the Romans, events, things that happened - making it a little more personal and interesting - and less on the architecture.

We picked up the tickets a day prior and went straight in at the time and day for the visit. We only used the app which was so helpful with my son. We strolled around at our own pace. The videos helped visualise the details that might be hard to see from a distance, also how temples etc looked originally. For exploring with kids or wanting to take it in own pace, this is perfect.

I didn't realize that the forum had to be entered at a specific time which didn't give us enough time at the coloseum, so we were disappointed.
