The ruins aren't always easy to interpret, but with a knowledgeable expert on hand, you’ll be transported back in time to the heyday of the ancient city.

Foro Romano
The Roman Forum, also known by its Latin name Forum Romanum, is a rectangular forum surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome.The political and business centre of ancient Rome, the warn away paths are covered in history. This is where the citizens came to listen to speeches, to meet the senators or to see people like Julius Caesar or Cicero. The ruins tell a story, and it is the story of Rome and its politics, with the likes of the ancient Curia (the Senate) that is still visible, but also with the impressive marble columns of temples which were erected for the first time in V century BC.
Palatine Hill
You'll visit the Palatine Hill, the most famous of the 7 hills of Rome, a prestigious place full of historical memory to which our guide will able to dedicate the right attention. On the Palatine you will in fact learn about Rome's most ancient past and discover those place considered sacred by the Romans for having been the scene of the mythical events that led to the foundation of the city. The guide will show you the area of the mythical lupercal where the she-wolf nursed the twins Romulus and Remus. The visit of the Palatine Hill will continue showing you the remains of the immense imperial residence.

He was incredibly patient with our family, and he highlighted numerous aspects of the tour and innumerable facts that we would have otherwise missed. 5.00Our guide Denis was extraordinary!! Very knowledgeable and well prepared with an iPad to give us a visual of the ruins he was pointing out. He was extremely sensitive to the brutal heat Rome was experiencing and made sure our group was handling it ok. His knowledge was only surpassed by his friendliness! Offering many times to take our picture as we were a group of 3!! He was superb in every aspect!!

5.00By far one of the best experiences I have had on a tour before and I have been on many. Silvia was such a patient and kindhearted person she was super patient with my kids who were nothing short of a huge distraction but she made it the best she could for us. Highly highly recommend this tour so informative and she took us back in time painting a beautiful historical landscape as we journeyed through the Roman forum and the colosseum.
