If you want to see the main attractions of La Fortuna - Arenal this is without a doubt your best option, we will start by picking you up at your hotel, then we will start with one of the most important sites, the Mistico Hanging Bridges where we will travel 3.2 km of trails and 10 stable and 6 suspended bridges with magnificent views. We will continue our trip to the Mirador El Silencio Park where we will observe our local symbol, the Arenal Volcano where we will walk through the 1968 lava flow until we reach the viewpoint where we will have a beautiful view of the volcano, Lake Arenal and the tropical rain forest. Once this tour is completed, we will recharge our energy with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and then culminate our activity with a refreshing swim in the beautiful Fortuna River Waterfall with a drop of 70 meters.

What To Expect
This tour is designed to explore the main attractions of La Fortuna, for those who have limited time in the Arenal Area and want to do the most outstanding activities in a single day. We will first start with a 2 mile (3.5 km) hike up the volcano through trails of solidified volcanic lava in the El Silencio Reserve to reach the viewpoint, which is the closest viewpoint to the Arenal Volcano that can exist. After the hike to the volcano we will move to the second point of interest, the 70 m (230 ft) high Río Fortuna Waterfall is an impressive place, where you can take a refreshing bath or simply photograph this magical waterfall and its splendid surroundings, a Once this visit is over, we will enjoy a delicious Typical Lunch in a restaurant near La Fortuna. Next, we will go to the Mistico Hanging Bridges Park to walk along a path through the tropical jungle and cross 16 impressive bridges of which 6 are hanging bridges and 10 are stationary. Our guides will show you the magnificent flora and fauna of this site where we will have the opportunity to observe Monkeys, snakes and more.

5.00Christopher was brilliant, we had a great day. Even though it was heavy rain we still managed to find some beautiful animals, including 2 lizards and a yellow viper snake. The hanging bridges were beautiful. Unfortunately the volcano was covered in cloud but we learnt the history of the Volcano, and went on a nice walk. The waterfall was worth the 100’s steps down and back up, the power of it was immense. Overall a lovely day, with a knowledgable fun guide who looked after us for the day.

5.00We are so happy to have found Brandon and his tour. He knows every flower, every bird and animal and spots them and shows us. He knows the history of the volcano, the waterfall and basically all things Costa Rica. He and his two assistants were so friendly and nice. We did the Arenal hike, the Mistico Bridges and the Fortuna Waterfall and he knew everything about them and pointed out all we need to see. I highly recommend Brandon and his tour company.

5.00The tour was amazing. We saw snakes, toucans, lots of interesting trees and plants. The waterfall was immense and the volcano was so interesting. Our guide Karina was fabulous, always explaining everything and had an answer to every question. A great tour, would definitely recommend!

5.00Wildlife Tours Costa Rica took us on a tour of the hanging bridges in Mistico Park outside La Fortuna in the Arenal Volcano area. Brandon is extremely knowledgeable and provides a personalized, unrushed tour. There was more than enough time to see whatever we wanted to see and go at our pace. We were the only people on his tour that day, but he was extremely helpful and courteous to others we encountered on the tour, showing them the animals and helping us and others take great pictures through his scope. His prices are very reasonable and provide great value. We’ve been on many tours throughout Costa Rica and highly recommend Wildlife Tours Costa Rica.

5.00A most wonderful trip we got to experience with the very knowledgeable and fun Brandon. We decided to visit the Peninsula Sector of the national park and had a nice stroll through the forest to reach the lookout tower and Arenal Lake itself. During the visit we got to see many different species and though a little cloudy managed to see Arenal Volcano. Would recommend this activity with Brandon to all visitors of La Fortuna/Arenal.
