It was great to book the combination ticket. First they picked us up for the chocolate tour, which included traditional hot chocolate and some other tasting treats. They also showed us the spices they grow, which was very interesting. We then were dropped off at our hotel and picked up later for the jungle night tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and we got to see some unique wildlife that we would have never found on our own, including various birds, a kinkajou, and a mexican hairy porcupine. I would definitely recommend this combination ticket to get a lot of great activities without much planning on your end.

We did both the Chocolate and Jungle Night Tour. The company made us feel like family the whole time. The night tour was incredibly fun and informative. We felt really safe even though we were nervous about the poisonous snakes and frogs. The chocolate tour was also a lot of fun! We learned a lot about the history of Costa Rica and cacao. The drinks were delicious! Brian, the owner, helped us buy some vanilla from a local farm and went out of his way to drop it off at our hotel the next day. We loved this company and we will definitely be back! Thanks again so much toBrian and your team!

Juan is a god sent soul. His connection to people, the earth, and to Costa Rica made this tour an experience. This is a must if you go to Quepos. All of your senses participate in this tour, you’ll taste AMAZING xocoatl aka Chocolate, you get to feel different textures of plants you don’t see in your garden, you’ll hear detailed stories of the country and plants, and you will also see the whole process of how chocolate has come to be. The staff and grounds are amazing, you won’t regret it

My family of teenagers went on both the Chocolate Tour and The Jungle Night Tour. It turns out the Chocolate Tour was what held our attention. Our guide, Andres, started with some history about cacao production while the teenagers were asked to open a fruit and serve us a cacao bean. Then we walked through the plantation tasting and learning about different herbs and medicinal plants. My teenage girls were impressed that Andres specifically mentioned plants for menstrual pain. Then we made our way to the cacao preparation and chocolate tasting tent. Andres went into full gourmet chef/ breaking bad jungle style chocolate tasting creations. We tried melted chocolate, sugar cane juice, mixed drinks, coffee etc. All the while letting the guests participate in using mortar and pestle to separate the cacao beans from the shells, grinding the sugar cane and measuring out the proportions of his creations. Everyone on the tour including Andres wore a mask and were spread out so Covid safety was not an issue. I think it was the best tour I have ever been on.

Combo Tour with this company was amazing, the jungle night tour and the chocolate. The guides were professional and spoke many languages. We learned a lot and detailed information about the chocolate making process from the historical and modern point of view. We ate soooo much of it too, had specialty coffee and a cocktail made with fresh sugarcane juice, ginger, lemon juice and one more ingredient you need to find out yourself. :) The night tour later on, helped us understand the difference between day time fauna and night time fauna. 2 completely different moments and 2 completely different set of animals. This is a must to activity with this company. We highly recommend calling them directly or booking via WhatsApp. They are super easy to contact. Keep up!!

I went on a chocolate tour and a night hike! I watched for the first time how to make chocolate from cocoa. I was able to taste the cacao fruit and it was delicious, like Rambutan! I learned that the process that followed was also very time-consuming, fermenting, drying, grinding. The cacao I ate was exceptional, as I experienced the process! After that, we had sugarcane juice and Costa Rican coffee. The guides were all very kind and talked a lot about getting guests involved. He also takes lots of photos during night hikes. I was a solo participant, but didn’t feel lonely at all! I highly recommend it ♪♪

We had such an amazing time doing both the chocolate tour and the night tour in Manuel Antonio. As much as we enjoy eating chocolate, we hadn’t really ever thought about all of the steps that go into making it. We also learned a little about how coffee is grown, processed, and distributed. The chocolate tour was informative, fun, and delicious! We even got to meet the owner’s two oxen, Fast & Furious. Later in the evening we did the jungle night tour, which exceeded our expectations. The evening we went we were able to see quite a few animals and insects, including four poisonous snakes, frogs, lizards, scorpions, and spiders. Despite walking through the jungle in the dark, we always felt safe. Our primary tour guide, Brian, was simply wonderful. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the foliage/plants, animals/insects, and processes to make the chocolate and coffee, and he speaks Spanish, English, and German very well. He was not only friendly and welcoming, but he also helped us navigate other tour options across the city and country. These two tours were family friendly and one of our favorite days in CR.

This is the second time now my family and I have done this tour with Brian. We came down here two years ago and went out with him on the Night Time tour. This trip we made sure that this was the first tour we did when coming back again with another family. We couldn’t stop thinking about if. Once again we were not let down. Brian, his employees and his facility are top notch. They are very professional and make you feel very safe out on the tour. This trip we were able to go on the Chocolate Tour also and again we were not let down. Loved how they explain everything about chocolate and coffee making. The facility is also beautiful. Both tours should not be missed when coming to Costa Rica.
