Come join Sinem at her home for a culinary and cultural journey.
This isn’t a cooking class in a studio. You’ll be welcomed into a real home kitchen in Antalya, guided by someone who cooks the way her grandmother taught her — with care, curiosity, and conversation. You’ll leave with recipes, full hearts, and a taste of real Turkish hospitality.

Join a traditional cooking class inside a cozy Antalya home, where you’ll prepare and enjoy a full Turkish meal with a local host. After a friendly tea welcome, you’ll learn how to make four different dishes, including a seasonal main, sarma or dolma (stuffed leaves or vegetables), börek, and a fresh salad. Your host Sinem will guide you every step of the way — from wrapping grape leaves to rolling out pastry dough — and share stories of how these dishes are passed down through generations. After cooking, sit down together to enjoy everything you made in a relaxed, family-style setting. You’ll also get the recipes to take home with you. As Sinem says, “The kitchen is where we gather, not just to eat, but to connect.”

This class was wonderful! We were welcomed into Sinem’s home where she taught us how to make a traditional meal. It was informative and fun and yes, the food was fabulous! We already purchased the spices and ingredients to try it at home!

Sinem welcomed us into her wonderful family home in Antalya and gave us exactly the experience that we were looking for. We were given clear and easy directions to the meet up point. Once there, we were welcomed with a choice of Turkish tea or coffee. We spent time preparing a delicious Turkish meal with fresh produce and ingredients. We prepared truly traditional Turkish dishes that were new for us and not from restaurants. This totally fulfilled our wishes for a local Turkish experience. Overall Sinem and Lokal Bond were fantastic to work with. They communicated well and even went above and beyond and accommodated our request to change the time so we can make it back in time for our cruise. My wife and I are so grateful for the friendly experience and are excited to take home some lovely new recipes to try!

We did a class with Sinem in her home. We made eggplant meat kebab, bulgur, yoghurt sauce and salad. We had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the hospitality of Sinem and her husband.

We spent a wonderful evening, first with Sineem for the preparation of the meal, then with her husband and children during the meal. We were afraid of having trouble communicating because we are not very comfortable in English, but we succeeded without worry and really had a great evening. Thank you very much sineem!

I had such a lovely evening! Sinem and her family were truly exceptional hosts, welcoming us with warmth that made us feel instantly at home. While there was a slight language barrier, it was easily navigated with the help of Google Translate. Sinem thoughtfully broke down the meal into simple steps, making it easy to follow along and engage in the cooking process. At the end of the night, we enjoyed the sunset from the upstairs deck and Sinem's husband even played a few songs on his bağlama (turkish guitar). The food was absolutely delicious, and the entire experience left me with a full heart and an even fuller belly. ❤️ I highly recommend this cooking class to experience genuine turkish hospitality.
