Join us and visit two of the oldest wineries famous for their wines worldwide awarded. Also, you will enjoy wines perfectly matched with local delicacies. Our next stop is Akrotiri and a lovely traditional taverna, where you will be greeted with a chilled glass of wine or ouzo from Litsa, the taverna’s owner and our charismatic local cook. You will hear stories about the life of the locals in the old-time and how they managed to have delicious food. And now, it’s time to put on our chef’s hats and start cooking. Discover the fresh, seasonal ingredients that excite locals and learn secret cooking techniques. The local specialties and the famous Santorinian dishes will surely engage your appetite. After this introduction, it is time to enjoy the chef’s creations. Take your time and taste all the rich flavors of Santorini. Don’t hesitate to ask for your favorite recipes to recreate at home. After lunch, you will board your coach to return to the hotel.

5.00Great tour. Delicious wine. The most authentic cooking class! We had an absolute great experience with this tour! Amani picked us right up from our hotel and enlightened us with all the history of her island. She brought us to two wine vineyards and this incredible cooking class where we learned to cook delicious Greek cuisine! This company offers multiple types of tours and we can’t wait to come back for another! Highly recommend!

5.00Amani was fantastic and a wonderful ambassador for the history, wine, food and people for Greece and Santorini. The two wineries were visited were tops and the family who hosted our cooking class and lunch were warm, wonderful and so open hearted. We felt the love of home cooked delights and had the most beautiful view at lunch. Wine flowed freely snd it was a perfect day.

5.00My daughters and I had an amazing time on the food and wine tour, mainly due to Amani!! She was so open and sharing about the culture and her life. She even invited us to her village's annual celebration that evening, which was a very special experience, laughing and dancing into the night! We've made a lifelong friend in Amani!!!

5.00Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Santorini! We toured the entire island, enjoying beautiful views all along the way! We visited two wineries.. one more modern and one more historic- both we really enjoyed! Our favorite part of the tour was doing a private cooking class with some local restaurant owners. We learned how to cook some traditional Greek dishes and ate the most delicious meal of our entire trip!! Amani was our tour guide and she was so knowledgeable and friendly! She went above and beyond for us! MUST DO tour

5.00Santorini private tours - Wine tours and cooking class with Amani is perfection. We had a wonderful day with a visit to two different local wineries. One was a newer production facility with a lengthy family history and the other a family owned and operated business. They both were wonderful. After drinking and enjoying our time tasting different wines we went for a cooking class with Litsa. Learning how to make some traditional Greek favorites was the highlight of our trip. The owners restaurant ,Aeolos Tavern , was amazing and the food was fantastic. We had a blast learning and most of all eating. Such a wonderful day. Thank you to Amani and Golden Ibex you made our Santorini vacation perfect !

5.00This experience was one of our highlights of Santorini! Our tour guide (Armani) was one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met. She has great pride in her country and a knowledge of many other cultures. We tasted great wines and had a great company. The cooking class was the cherry on top of an exciting day. The food was amazing and the owners were so warm and welcoming. Not to mention, the view from the top of the mountain is excellent. We brought a bottle back from our trip and made tomato fritters at home to re-create that experience. Do yourself a favor and see some of the other side of the island and hang out with extraordinary people.
