Our Cooking experience starts at ou Cooking Studio, a traditional house from 1930.

We start our experience preparing the most delicious cocktails with fresh fruits (bought in the local market we visited) and Pisco.

You will cook: Lomo Saltado.

You will Cook: Papa a la Huancaina

You will make Pisco Sour

Our class is full hands on and you will take part in all the preparation.

After the class we will also send you the recepies, so then you can enjoy it with your family and friends.

Notice:

The cooking experiences in Cusco are in the afternoon.

* In the morning from 12:30 to 14:00

* In the afternoon from 18:00 to 19:30

Our dishes are easy to be converted into vegetarian.

What To Expect

Take part of this immersive, hands-on cooking experience in a traditional 1930s house located in the heart of Cusco. Under the guidance of a professional Peruvian chef, you will learn to prepare iconic dishes including Lomo Saltado and Papa a la Huancaína, as well as master the art of crafting the classic Pisco Sour cocktail using fresh, local fruits sourced from a nearby market. After the session, you will receive detailed recipes so you can recreate the experience at home with family and friends. Vegetarian adaptations are available upon request to accommodate dietary preferences.

Chef Jesus was extremely friendly and didactic throughout the time. You learn a lot about Peruvian cuisine and enjoy learning to cook traditional dishes with quality ingredients. It also guarantees super cool photos and videos of the experience, I was alone and the chef was very attentive and offered to position the phone and record while teaching me how to make the Lomo Jumped. Both the Pisco Sour, and the Papas à la Huancaína and the Lomo Saltado were delicious and learning about these dishes while I cooked them myself under the guidance of the chef, was very special!

I took my very first cooking class, and I’m so glad it was a Peruvian cooking class! It was such a fun and memorable family experience for our family of four. Chef Jesus was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable—he not only taught us how to prepare delicious Peruvian dishes, but also shared the history and culture behind the food. He was extremely accommodating of the gluten-free dietary needs for myself and our two kids (ages 9 and 12), while still allowing my husband to enjoy each dish in its true, traditional form. It made the experience perfect for all of us. If you’re visiting and want a hands-on, authentic experience, I highly recommend taking this cooking class. It’s perfect for families—you’ll learn a lot, eat amazing food, and have a great time together!

This was a great cooking class where we not only learned to prepare two of our favorite Peruvian dishes, but also had a lot of fun. Jesús also answered all our questions and it all tasted very delicious. We recommend everyone to attend a course, it is worth it!

10/10 recommend this experience. My group of 4 attended the 1.5 hour class with Chef Jesus. He has been a chef for 15 years and his knowledge and experience contributes directly to the quality of his class. The ingredients were fresh, the cooking process was easy, and everything was delicious! Chef Jesus and his assistants were incredibly kind, patient, and informative. We learned so much about the history of Peruvian cuisine and how to make traditional Peruvian dishes! Would absolutely recommend
