What To Expect
The starting point of the tour, by BeerWalks shop in the bustling street of Istedgade, once the absolute Red Light District of Copenhagen, today it has transformed to some very different (and expensive) neighborhood! Still one of the most interesting areas of Copenhagen!
The Vesterbro area’s main street Istedgade exudes diversity. Between porn shops and strip bars are some of the city's best boutiques, restaurants and bars. For many years, Istedgade was dominated by drugs, porn and prostitutes, but today the famous street has transformed to something else – especially in the end opposite Copenhagen Central Station, while still maintaining some of its authentic vibes in the other.

A great tour for those who enjoy craft beer

5.00We always try to appreciate the local craft beer when we travel overseas. This tour was outstanding, not only for the different beers we sampled, it was a really good walking tour of the Copenhagen a lot of people miss. Our host was Morten Wagner, who was an informative, fun and gracious host. Oh by the way, Copenhagen breweries make great beer!!!

5.00Gun tour with an extremely eloquent guide. The burning enthusiasm for beer was felt and his knowledge of the art and crafts of brewing beer was extensive. From there, I learned more about beer and about Denmark’s importance for the world’s beer production. All in all a really good and fun experience.
Super trip, with Christoffer as a guide. Can definitely be recommended. Good stories and delicious beer.

5.00I had invited family and friends to Krimi BeerWalk on Vesterbro. Here we got stories about rockers, bank robberies and other exciting stories. Spicy with good and spicy beers, it was a great way to be together. It can really be recommended.

Dedicated guide that tells both old and new anecdotes in and around the cosy neighborhood of Copenhagen supplemented by good and exciting taste experiences of good beer including a nice "tour" in the world of beer. 5.00Brilliant experience. Christoffer, who is also the owner, is a humourous, talented, and incredibly knowledgeable guide. When visiting a city my primary concerns will always be trying to find the slightly different approaches that lets me both see, experience, and - most importantly of all - taste the place I'm visiting. BeerWalks does exactly that and at a fantastic rate where I really feel I get the bang for my buck that I'm looking for: beer tastings at perfect intervals, stories about the things you see on the walk, and lots of background info about both the beer and the inhabitants of the areas you walk through. Despite having been in Copenhagen many times over, and having had my fair share of guided tours involving beer, I still managed to learn tons of new things about both Copenhagen and beer. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, Christoffer.
