1.00I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of our recent excursion booking during our first Mediterranean cruise, which was a special occasion celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We booked a snorkeling tour through your agency with high hopes, only to discover upon arrival that the tour extended well beyond our ship’s mandatory return time of 3:30 PM—ending after 5:00 PM. This critical scheduling conflict rendered us unable to participate and cost us $400. At the meeting point, the local staff attempted to contact Viator, but no constructive support was offered. We are currently trying to obtain a refund, but based on previous experience—specifically during our time in France when train strikes disrupted another tour, and Viator declined reimbursement—we have little confidence in a favorable resolution. This is not simply a case of poor coordination. It is a significant oversight that negatively impacted a once-in-a-lifetime celebration and left us with frustration and financial loss. I urge your agency to be far more diligent in vetting tour options against ship schedules and to ensure travelers are not placed in such untenable situations. I expect acknowledgment of this issue and a commitment to helping us receive proper compensation. More importantly, I hope you take steps to prevent this from happening to others in the future. 2.00This was advertised as including beverages, didn’t expect to have to pay for all our drinks Visit to caves cancelled on way out and forgotten on the way back
