This is one of the BEST experiences I've ever booked and done! From the start, it was SO FUN!! We were welcomed with a choice of delightful beverages and a wonderful warm welcome into a gorgeous cooking and eating space!! Then, there were introductions and expectations before getting to the fun! We cooked three courses and had the BEST TIME chatting and learning and listening and drinking!! I would do this every week if I could and was a highlight of my vacation!

The facility was nice and professional and clean. Our chef Glenda was the highlight. She was lovely. There was a problem however: I booked the cooking class with the understanding that it would be I a villa in the country side. It was not. It was in the town of Cortona in a commercial kitchen. The cost was 240 per person- and on line I found many cooking classes for 90 with cooking class and wine. The meal we made was very simple: a bruschetta and a simple homemade pasta with tomato sauce and pancetta, and tiramisu. For 240 pp I expected more ( and initially signed up for this class due to the rave reviews about the villa) Once again- Glenda our chef was lovely.

This is a wonderful class! You engage with the chef and help to prepare a delicious lunch! Appetizer, pasta and dessert! And of course, vino. You are right in the heart of Cortona. Glenda was fun and interesting.

We signed up for a cooking class through Do It In Tuscany and had the most fun with our marvelous chef Cristina. Mind you, my husband and I don’t cook. At all. But this lovely, warm, talented woman immediately put us at ease and made us feel like we actually knew what we were doing. We started by making our dessert: tiramisu! Surprisingly easy when Cristina guides you. We then made our pizza dough, sauce and created our margherita pizza (with some olives and fixings). While we waited for our pizza to cook, we sipped prosecco and enjoyed the best Italian mixtape to enhance the atmosphere. We enjoyed our pizza and tiramisu with a sublime Chianti, some conversation and much laughter. The Do It In Tuscany kitchen/dining room is both pristine and cozy. This was the third experience we had booked through Federica and each one has been exceptional in quality and value. If you’re in Cortona, no matter your cooking ability, do it!!!

Overall beautiful experience. Glenda our chef instructor taught us well. We learded how to make tagliatelle with a tomato, bacon, and cream sauce, plus Tirimisu. Enjoying our meal with all the cooks was the highlight!

There was confusion about the meeting place. The session began 30 minutes late for no good reason. Session was mediocre.
