What To Expect
This offer consists of a hands-on workshop and a subsequent traditional folklore show. Step into a beautifully preserved traditional Croatian house, where you’ll be welcomed by dancers dressed in authentic Croatian folk costumes, representing different regions of the country. First, create and decorate your own Licitar heart, a beloved Croatian symbol recognized by UNESCO. Then, paint a traditional Croatian wooden toy, inspired by age-old craftsmanship from the Zagorje region. Both handmade items are yours to keep as unique souvenirs. After the workshop, enjoy our traditional Folklore Show, where experienced dancers will guide you through dances and chants from centuries ago. To complete the experience authentic Rakija (fruit brandy) will be served. Take unforgettable photos with the folklore performers in traditional attire and feel free to ask them any questions about Croatian traditions, history, or dances!

5.00I had a nice, fun and educational experience. I was a solo (evening weekday) attendee, although you would've thought that Ivan and Ana were performing for a group. Their enthusiasm, passion and knowledge was both impressive, and evident of their commitment to share, educate, and preserve a variety of their cultural customs. I recommend this experience for others.

5.00We did this experience together as a family including our 7 year old grand daughter. We were in Croatia to spend time looking into the family history of my father who was born in Yugoslavia and what is now Croatia. We were very keen to show our grand daughter some of the culture and this was the perfect way to do it! We all loved the combination of story telling, history, dance and workshop painting activities! Our hosts were so very warm and welcoming, thoroughly knew their subject and could not have been more accommodating and hospitable! Thank you so much! We would thoroughly recommend this experience!
