We cruise in a small group in a relaxed, social setting —you step on board as a guest and leave feeling like a local. Sit back, enjoy, and take in the city at an easy pace.
Instead of following a fixed route with standard commentary, we let the day and the group guide the experience. The captain is your host and guide in one, sharing stories and local insights that help you truly understand Amsterdam.
All cruises are 90 minutes. Departures on the historic Jonckvrouw sail at 12:00, 2:00, 4:00, and 6:00 pm, with additional half‑hour departures on the iconic James Bond boat at 12:30, 2:30, 4:30, 6:30, and 8:30 pm.
Both boats are fully electric, comfortable in all seasons, and equipped with sliding glass windows, a sunroof, an open aft deck, and a toilet on board (a rare luxury!).

4.00The cruise was good. The narrative was given by the captain. The seats were mostly in an j door cabin. We sat outside where there wA room for 6. Unfortunately even though the captain was prepared with a speaker so we can hear what he was saying in the cabin with a connected microphone, it did not work 75 % of the ride and we had to strain to hear. Despite that we loved the ride. The wine bear and snack were basic but good.

5.00Captain Ollie was out captain on the Captain Dave boat and he is absolutely amazing!!! He was fun, funny, and EXTREMELY informative. He knew fascinating history about the area and made it relatable to each of us and where we came from. And not only did he have great history and information about all of the sights but he maneuvered the boat impressively! There were some incredibly tight corners and even had a situation with a local boat that he was able to navigate and keep on track! Absolutely amazing tour. Extremely highly recommend!

4.00As we wanted totally unobstructed 360-degree views, we sat in the uncovered stern of the Jonckvrouw. We could not hear the guide's narration whether we sat on the right side or the left, but we did not care. We saw a variety of big and small canals, the Amstel, and many different kinds of architecture. The WC and the open bar were two big pluses.

5.00This tour shows you and tells you about Amsterdam and how it came to be what it is today. Personal stories that entertain and educate, not pre-recorded. We enjoyed our tour with Jan so much that we booked another for the next day with Ollie. Both exceeded our hopes. Would suggest going in the morning when canal traffic is less, late afternoon on Friday was very busy and made piloting the boat and entertaining guests a difficult task…which Ollie managed well. Take this tour and enjoy a personal experience.

5.00Dave is a genuinly nice guy who interacts with his guests on a personal level. Choice of what to do: Touristy, local or islands (or mix within reason). Good quality beverages..Had a good time in vessel James Bond. The toilet, albeit small, is a plus.

5.00Jan did such a nice job as our Captain. I really enjoyed learning the stories of the history of Amsterdam and the Netherlands! In addition, he did a wonderful job describing the different parts of the canals, the buildings and the city. Gave us some extra recommendations about the restaurants, stores, galleries, museums and food he also loves Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience ❤️
